It's a pretty indeterminate method of trying to k**l someone, people survive crazy accidents and it's a 50/50 proposition the car will hit the right object at the right angle and spot to ensure actual death. It does not seem feasible, especially with the immediate public response and life saving actions plus all the accident sites scrutiny.

The car had been modified (armoured) badly and with seatbelts it would have been possible to walk away - too many factors needed to fall in line to make it anything other than a tragic and preventable accident,

I think someone put a hit on her, but I don't think it was the royal family, my mom says that when the royal family wants someone dead, that person tends to just kinda disappear, so if lady Di's death was a royal hit job, then it was pretty sloppy

I used to think this was dumb. Case Closed made an excellent case against it. But the assassination attempt on Trump has me a bit more shaky on this one. I'm more inclined to think that the Trump assassination was more about people not caring if he were killed than participating in planning it. There was a "conspiracy" of sorts: LBJ did not want another Communist Scare, and so the government deliberately smokescreened and played down the certainty it was Oswald and that he had been in contact with the Soviet Union, and instead, the Warren Commission just stirred up as much confusion as possible.

Lots of ancient technology is lost to history, like Greek fire. But that doesn't mean there was anything earthshaking about it.

We don't have the technology to do that now. Doesn't make it weird or creepy, there are many things we used to be able to do that we do with machines etc now.

They weren't stupid, they just didn't have modern machinery. You would be amazed what you can lift with a good pulley system.

Not a conspiracy theory. This one comes from some of the sharpest minds in Physics, and its based on the fact that matter is astoundingly unsubstantial, phsyical laws don't work at the quantum layer, and when you therefore look at the material world as a form of information and suppose that the universe will collapse into one big black hole eventually, all of reality is just the projection of matter off of black holes. The chief problem with this theory is that the universe doesn't appear to have nearly enough matter to collapse back into black holes.

Unlikely, things would be better in a simulation.

I like to imagine when we die we just wake up as these energy blobs coming out of a pool. "Omg the Earth pool is getting extreme!" "You going back in for another tour?" "Naw I'm gonna live the life of a tree on Planet Zog for a while" and you dive into another pool.

I don't mind conspiracy theories about covid being planned. I do mind conspiracy theories about covid being fake, or not that serious. That's a huge insult to anyone infected and getting very sick, health care workers and people who lost loved ones due to covid.

In our global society, we were long overdue for a pandemic. Especially with so many of us (Americans) acting like the stupid idiots who ruin everything in zombie movies, all in the name of "but my freedums".

I admit some aspects could be suspicious if you read them in a certain way, but that is how conspiracy theories work: they cherrypick real events and link them together with paranoia and fear. We simply have to admit that, sometimes sh¡t just happens. I think some people will get some confort in thinking that is was an inside job rather than the alternative: the most powerful country in the world, with the largest army and most expensive security measures could possibly be attacked in a civilian target within its territory by a fringe terrorist group in the other side of the planet.
