When I was 11 or 12, my mother punished me once by putting my entire Magic: the Gathering card collection into the sink, running water over them until the cards got soggy, then pushing the soggy cards into the garbage disposal (all while she made me watch.) I had a Black Lotus and a Shivan Dragon. I played with my decks so they wouldn't have been in mint condition nowadays, but MAN I'm still salty about it 30 years later XD
