Hello, I'm Nizar, a visual designer from Tetouan, Morocco. It’s been 3 years since I started creating my first artwork.
Since ancient times, people created art to express themselves and to document their lives and cultures. For me, I see that modern art using digital media is nothing but an evolution of traditional art.
That’s why I tried to work with traditional art in a digital medium, just like what renaissance artists (Angelo, for example) did when they got inspired by elements from antiquity to create their works.

I use the technique of digital collage photoshopping that I apply to some classical masterpieces. I use references to pop culture such as well-known memes, renowned movies, food chains, current events (like the Covid-19 pandemic), brands, etc.

I'm a classical art lover because classical paintings let you time travel and have a glimpse at the world that is long gone now. Adding some elements from pop culture allows me to bring those old times closer to modern days and look at them from a new perspective.
