The 42-year-old artist from Milan isn't new in his field. He's been working as a TV celebrity makeup artist for more than 20 years, and has tons of experience elsewhere too. But in 2014, he wanted to try doing something new that he wasn't used to back then: he started doing optical illusion makeup that you're seeing here today. First, he started using his hands as a canvas, and eventually moved to his head and face. Almost 7 years later, Luca still does them, and the results are mind-boggling.

The artworks featured here today include his makeup paintings on his hands and head. Though the hands and head are different as canvases, Luca's talent shines through just the same.
