Artist Asks AI To Turn 30 Countries Into Women, The Results Go Viral

They give the prompts and make sure the website/app is running smoothly, and much more stuff that I don't know about. There are many types of artists, and AI artists are under the umbrella category of digital artists.

I've been a digital artist for 20 years and I use AI. Why? Because it's fun to paint with words, because it's fun to be surprised, because it's useful for inspiration, because it's like being able to look at dreams, because it can be hybridized with my original work, which makes it a tool just like a box of paints or a bolt of fabric.

They're not artists if they solely use AI. AI 'art' is a bunch of other people's actual art mashed together to make a new picture from the prompts you feed it

Same way they use cameras.

"Why do they use AI if they're artists?" That's like asking why someone eats McDonald's if they're a chef. Sometimes people don't always want to do what they do every single day. Sometimes they want a change.

I have an even pointier question-why use women (again)?

The same reason they use other tools like Photoshop.

To test how AI interprets descriptions. You can try it on an app available on Apple devices, not android yet, sadly.

AI could be used like any other tool to create art. A better question would be if you can call someone using AI to create art an artist. In most cases I would say no.

"why do they use synthesizer if they are musicians" And i'm actually old enough to have heard this exact argument that you cannot call yourself musician or author if "electronic plays it instead of human"

Because they can.

They're an artist who wanted to see how AI composed art. They do art outside of this project.

They're not artists. The entire purpose of AI is to eliminate the concept of "being an artist", as they want everybody to *steal* from others to produce infinite images, without any effort. So, they're not artists.

Because it takes a tiny fraction of the time that it would take to do this manually. Something like this would take 40-60 hours easy but AI would take 2 minutes once you refine your prompt which could take 5-20 minutes.

Maybe they trained the ai with heir own art..?

Caucasian refers actually to people in the Caucasus region of Central Asia. Hence Caucasians are not white. Also of note, these features are found in Ethiopian people. They're not a monolith.

What Caucasian features lmao? I sure have never seen those lips naturally on any Caucasian woman. And her nose is more flat than most Caucasian noses too... Also, Ethiopia is pretty close to Egypt and the middle east, so obviously they might look more similar to that than West Africans do...
