There are architects who either don't have a clue what they're doing or they just want to watch the world burn. Bored Panda has collected some of the most horrible architecture designs, and they seem to be created just to torture people.

Looks like it is in New South Wales in Australia. Typical placement of signs etc. It should have been straddling the unused crossover just on this side of said sign.

They actually built something like that at the BER, the new airport in Berlin that should have opened some time ago. They built an escalator with 4 more steps at the end of it. xD I mean...how can someone be so stupid as to plan such a disaster?

Actually it's a pedestrian and a bike lane, so while avoiding the pedestrians who will not allow you to pass anyway while driving a bike, you have to be careful not to hit the tree

They're for baby carriages - the average width of a baby carriage's wheels will go in the lanes. The parent gets good grip walking on the stairs.

I don't think these were done under the supervision of an architect or designer. We architects/ designers won't do such crimes. Haha! Probably some Mr. Know it all Contractor or owner did these horrendous things. Funny though.

These are hysterical and I LOL'ed at all of them! BUT... except for the weird doors, these are mostly engineering problems. Architects just design buildings; they don't put in decor or fixtures or decide where bike paths and playsets are going to go and that kind of thing...

I can understand halfassed jobs that are only done because there are a law that obligate them to do so. but some of those doesn't make any sense, I can't imagine someone looking at a obviously wrong and unnecessary job and saying "eeh... good enough"
