Apple Reveals Its Newest $549 AirPods, The Internet Comes Up With 30 Hilarious Memes And Reactions
At this point, it has sort of turned into a beautiful tradition for people to take some time after each new Apple release, roll up their sleeves, and craft some hilarious memes roasting the product. And as you may already know, this week, the company has unveiled their new AirPods Max—wireless headphones featuring high-fidelity audio, active noise cancellation, and other impressive properties. But here's the thing—these new headphones cost a pretty penny, to say the least. $549, to be exact. And even though it shouldn't be that much of a shocker knowing Apple, some people were indeed quite shocked by the price tag. And that's how the meme treatment began.
Some people took it a step further and dived in to do a more thorough investigation into the new Apple headphones. Apparently, there are some more hilarious things about this product. For instance, some folks started noticing how the carrying case that these AirPods Max come with sort of looks like a purse or a bra. The list goes on.

Yeah... Bose and Sony are for those people that don't actually know what they're talking about. They're okay, but they're not worth their usual price tags. Sennheisers are the way to go, in terms of quality of sound.

I used to have a pair of bose headphones (they broke because I accidentally dropped them, but lasted something like 3 years or so) and I can confirm they were AMAZING. sometimes I still dream about the audio quality and noise-canceling.

I never bought an Apple product, so I don't judge their price or quality. The market is based on supply and demand. It may not be worth it for me, but it's worth it for some others, and who am I to say? I can find (probably just as) good quality alternatives for lower price, and I find no reason to splurge, but if someone else does, I don't think it's ridiculous either. (Of course if they use Apple albeit not being so well-off then it IS ridiculous). Apple keeps pricing their products highly because they sell. And if they sell, then their price IS appropriate.

I've had an iPhone before. I wasn't impressed. Honestly, I feel like because there's more competition in the Android market, there's more innovation and a drive to be better. Apple is the boutique product that looks good, functions, but is really just a brand.

Or people who are rich... it is all a matter of perspective. For most people, spending $549 is the kind of purchase you should stop and think about. But for someone who has 100x more money than you... this is just a casual purchase. Like you buying something for $5.50 vs a different brand for $2.25. Sure, the $2.25 one is a better deal, but if the $5.50 one amuses you, then what the heck, buy it for a laugh.

I've got a pair of wireless earphones that cost me £40 ( over £100 cheaper than airpods) and I genuinely prefer them to my old airpods. So yea.. airpods are a rip off that people only buy because they're apple and it makes them seem "rich" or something.
