There's something about broken patterns, a symmetry that's out of order, and flawed elements that seem to trigger us... Even if you're not a perfectionist, our brains just seem to prefer things that are ordered in a nice way. Not to mention how annoying things not in the right place can be.
To show you what we're talking about, Bored Panda has put together a list of disturbing photos that are guaranteed to invoke OCD. Don't believe me? Just take a look below and try to go through the whole imperfections list without muttering "aarrgh."

Its a common practise, you cannot understand unless you are an engineer, a monent of silence for all non engr.
you can actually wash circuit boards. I build them and sometimes we have to wash them to get rid of flux remains before we . components like CPUs, capacitors, resistors are sealed off. the only thing you have to do is to let is dry completely, before you use it again, but never ever try to do it at home, you won't have the right liquids and you don't know how to do it correctly.
Doesn't it have to be completely pure water? Since the reason water is conductive is the things in it, not the water itself?

I've done that a couple of times. Only good way to get rid of all the dust, just remember to let it completely dry before plugging it back in.
If you let it dry completely before connecting any pins or plugs it should be fine.
You can tell the capacitors are already buldging, I'm going to assume this was realized and is being cleaned for artwork. That's what I'm going to tell myself
Actually you can wash motherboards, but you need to make sure that the battery has been removed. I'm building motherboards and we have to wash them before we apply the lacquer to make it "waterproof" .

OMG! Let me hang myself, upside down... brain drain...! And, where was this inteligent act done? Couldn't even imagine that guy, when he gets multiple Motherboards (Mb) for cleaning...would he use his Washing & Drier machine? God, please help such ignorant souls out here! Or, was it just a prank with a 'dead' Mb?
LOL! This isn't a problem! I work in electronics engineering, we have to wash boards all the time to get soldering flux off! :)

I didn't stop looking because any photo bothered me. I stopped because the pics are spread out over 90 slow to load pages full of click bait.
Don't bother trying to finish viewing this list in 1 sitting. It's 74 pages long, and has 369 entries. When i saw "10+" in the title, i thought i would be viewing 20 or so pics, not 369, goddammit.
My brother has ADD, so his computer looks a lot like the first picture
the most annoying of these are the '10 + and I'm on number XXX' You're contributing to that number, it's stupid and any # above 10 = '10+' stfu
another for the list, we done this 6000 piece jigsaw, anything over 4000 can be split into 4 so the pieces match from each corner, fun to more them around, drives ocd people nuts lol 1265132_10...eaa38d.jpg

most of these were fun or funny, then all of a sudden...someone with her fingers in her eyelids?? a frog with things crawling out of it's skin?? WTF?!?! those do not belong here. They belong in a post of things that'll make you want to throw up! or things that'll give you actual freaking nightmares! I'm not trying to be funny, I am freaking out! GROSS!
#110 is made to be like that. It's part of the design of the shirt. Also, you're overreacting with a lot of them. Maybe there'd be fewer pages if about 1/2 of these were removed
I didn't realise that there many things I see each day that makes me feel "uncomfortable".
#44 is actually a legit way of cleaning pcb's. Although it's not really a long term fix. You just got to do it propperly and make sure it's completely dry when reinstalling :)

#35 when you you are building in the Sims and you just put whatever window you can afford...
The flag on the dollar bill is upside down because an upside down flag in America is a distress signal. Specifically it is a "signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property."
The one that has gotten to me the must is the tennagers with the textbook. If you look closely the photo on the textbook is them again. It's a of a photo in a photo 😖😖
There are more issues with the "Petrol guage" picture. 1) Why couldn't you spell it correctly? It's gauge not guage!. 2) It's not R/pm that would mean revolutions per per minute, It's RPM! 3) those are VERY low RPM's for a vehicle, they should be in the thousands unless this is a speedometer. and 4) obviously the 4/3 tank..
As if these pics didn't put me on edge enough lol wtf there is a face in 32!!!

The hand in picture #69 doesn't bother as much as people using the word "suppose". OMG, third grade English people. It should be "supposed".
I have something that will really make you uncomfortable but I keep getting an error when I try upload. Why?!?!?! That makes me uncomfortable.
At my previous doctor there was a ceiling fan. Just under lights. I think that it would kill anyone with epilepsy because even for me it was a hard one. And after giving quite a lot of blood for some testing I had to ask for turning that fan off.
That is what I thought I am so glad I am not the only one.
