Humorous, but one bite from the cat and the bird can get deadly diseases. At least the Yellow-Headed Amazon can deliver a really nasty bite in self-defense. That cage is way too small. Our Cockatoos have very large ones. They are usually out anyway.

Cage is hanging on the wall, looks like it's outside. I really hope that is not the Amazons cage! Bird's in good shape, apparently.

I never like photos of cats and birds together. Everyone thinks this is so cute or funny and it's insanely dangerous for the bird. One scratch, even accidentally, and the bird needs to go the vet asap for antibiotics. NOT A JOKE.

I have 3 large parrots and would never allow them to interact with cats or dogs! People who do that are just ignorant.

My grandma’s eyes used to reflect like that in the dark (due to cataract lens replacement). It was scary as hell to see this little curly haired old lady down a dark hallway with her eyes glowing.

There's an inherited health condition - something to do with connective tissue? - that has been diagnosed that way. People who have it show reflective retinas in flash photos.

i once saw red little eyes in my dark play room with a sliding door and a doggy door in the door to go outside in the room found out it was a raccoon and little babys

Some of these just make me so so very sad about the way we mistreat animals then laugh about it. I mean yeah, a lot of them are funny or even cute, but like the poor turtle in the wall or the horses trapped in tiny places.
