You're not the only one who loves taking long baths and showers – pets and even wild animals love to splish and splash too! These adorable photos of animals taking baths will make you want to take a long bath or shower too (you shouldn't, of course, because it wastes water - but maybe just this once…).

Looks like he's definitely enjoying it! Notice the tree above him on the right... it looks like there's a person hanging upside down from it, with their arm out - but it's just branches. Amazing!!
It's nice to see one enjoying itself in water, rather than wandering around in the desert. Beautiful picture.
He Confuses Bath Time With Nap Time
At least he's enjoying it. The warm water on his tummy is probably very soothing for such a young puppy!
Just Another Monday...
Now I know that is one very unhappy and probably pissed kitty. I assure you, the kitty will get you back.
Am I the only one who sees the irony of putting a Tweety towel on a "Sylvester" cat?
I have always bathed my cats after adopting them. My most recent one was covered with fleas, flea dirt, and just plain dirt. I agree, cats do a wonderful job of bathing themselves, but I won't hesitate to bathe a filthy animal before bringing it into my clean house with my clean animals.
NO WAY. Do NOT -- EVER -- do this to a cat unless it is totally necessary for the health of the cat. Cat's DON'T need bathing; they do a fantastic job of it on their own.
Kitty says: "It's not bad enough that you gave me a *shudder* bath, and stuck this silly hat on me... but did you have to wrap me up in Tweety Bird too? Do you hate me that much?" :-D
Nothing Could Be So Much Nicer Than Having Someone Wash Your Back
Did the pup go walking in red clay or something? His paws are so very red!!
How did it's paws get so red? Playing in paint? Or living on a mostly iron ore hill, like I do?? I can't even get a white animal...It will be pink or orange in no time....lol.

I've always had a soft spot for elephants. And the babies are super cute too.
Don't Be Fooled Human, Your Demise Is Still Going To Happen
Some cats actually like water. This may not be one of them, but it looks like he doesn't mind it too much.
This Little Yorkie Who Is Super Happy Having His Bath
Yorkies are completely adorable, and so tiny! He could literally swim in that sink, lol. He does look like he's having fun, for sure. I just hope his owner is using actual pet shampoo and not that Softsoap. Human soaps can be very irritating to pet skin!! Always use vet approved pet soap only!!
It's Bath Time!
Uhuh? I’m Comfortable With This!
The closest my pom will get to a bath is lying beside the tub when I shower. If I has a bigger sink I'd try this.
It's a puppy-sized jacuzzi, lol. Better watch the water level though... getting close to flood stage there!
Lila Likes A Good Bubble Bath Just Like Anybody Else
They actually DO make a bubble bath for animals (which can also be made with their regular shampoo). And even if they didn't ,would it not occur to you to use the stuff that's made to for human babies sensitive skin?? It's good enough for our babies, but not good enough for our furry ones???
How do you know they aren't using pet shampoo? I don't see any indication otherwise. By the way - baby shampoo/bubble bath is NOT always a good idea for pets. The best bet is to always use REAL pet shampoo, preferably one that's made specifically for the type of pet you're bathing (ie: don't use cat shampoo on dogs, etc.).
Load More Replies...I would not give ANY ANIMAL a bubble bath except with a shampoo or formula specially made for animals, or for the specific species.
who's to say that isn't a pet soap? I give my hedgie baths in special made bubble bath, looks just like this.

Bunny Takes A Shower
So could I just say that this is a reaction to fear? He might seem relaxed and at rease, but the truth is that this is very VERY stresfull for en bunny, no matter how cute it may look. Also, rabbits are very VERY clean animals like cats, they don't need baths, since cooling down to much can cause nasty illnesses in their lungs. Obviously if your bun had ran through mud or something, cleaning it is very imporant if it can't do so himself, but always with a cloth and if REALLY nessesary with this much water. Just so you guys know, this is NOT a bunny who is having fun!!!!
What a load of Bollocks I nad a Rabbit that used to jump in the paddling pool with the kids he also thought he was a cat, and ate ice cream.......

Taking A Bath
If he didn't like it, he wouldn't be sitting there long enough for them to actually take his picture. Cute kitty. : )
Some of the longer-haired breeds, and show cats, are given regular baths from the time they are kittens, so they get used to it. I'm not sure if they ever truly enjoy it - but they aren't as freaked out about it as the average cat.

Cat Bath Returns
Bath Time Has Commenced
Oh please!!!!! It is not cruel to give a cat a bath! I don't know if you have ever owned a cat but occasionally they can get into things that make them stink and then they need to be bathed. Stop screaming "cruelty" every time you see a picture that you don't have all the information for. That kind of thing really takes away from the ACTUAL cruelty that animals are facing and makes people way less aware. Kind of like the boy who cried Wolf.
Load More Replies...I have had a number of cats in my life.....about 3/4 of them absolutely LOVED bath times. A couple of them would actually wait until I turned away from washing the dishes so that they could jump into the sink and let the water run over them. So this is in no way cruelty!! I think you just like to troll about to try to make other people feel bad. yseta46
