New Zealand Artists Adorn Utility Boxes With Amazing Works Of Art (80 Pics)
I spied some of these cheerful boxes while out walking near my home in Auckland and they inspired me to discover more of them throughout New Zealand.
A few years ago, the Keep NZ Beautiful Society and telecommunications company Chorus created a cabinet art programme to bring smiles and deter taggers.
Here are some of my favs from the project.

Hi Magpie, This photo is definitely genuine and is featured on the Chorus telecommunications site. The black underneath is just the base of the cabinet which is less deep than the actual cabinet.

This is old blue :) she was the last breeding female and repopulated her whole entire species of black Robin. Habitat destruction and introduced pests, had them on the brink of extinction, They are only found on Chatham islands now. - keli. J
