My good friend Laura Anca Adascalitei is the artist behind Coon Tales - a series of illustrations of two raccoons and their random shenanigans.
She started drawing them as part of Inktober in 2017 and just kept drawing them. Their names are George and Steve. They are usually pretty topical with the season - but they have also traveled a lot and are interested in art history (they also have a pretty cool pet).
I think they need more love and followers because they are incredibly cute and funny.

RuruCoco, you have made my heart feel just a little bit in love! I would so much enjoy reading children's' books about the adventures, everyday and fantastical, about these two raccoons, they are absolutely lovely and heartwarming.
