I am a designer based in San Francisco. During the day, I work for a tech company and look at a lot of business charts. In my spare time, I've been also enjoying making some fun Venn diagrams and various charts. It turns out that making a chart is a quick and effective way to communicate absolutely any concept, from dating to procrastination.

Some charts are funny, some pretty dark, and some surprising... but I tried to keep them all honest. They are inspired by what's happening in my everyday life. Hope you'll find these enjoyable. If you like these, follow me on Instagram.

At my annual performance review one year, in an extremely toxic work environment, my boss told me that my work was excellent, but I needed to promote myself more. Eventually, another employee -- the sister of one of the vice presidents of the company -- promoted herself into my job. She told my bosses that she could do it better than I could, and so they laid me off and gave her my job. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. P.S. She failed spectacularly at my old job, and left the company shortly thereafter.

It makes sense that we care to some extent what other people think because we are social creatures in need of a group. At the same time we are not just our biology and can teach ourselves to not act on our fears of what we think others are thinking about us. Basically, we can feel and acknowledge the fear while choosing to act in ways that we choose.

ppl with social anxeity disorders like me constantly care wat ppl think im 32 and its a constant fear that ppl will dislike me, b mean, bully, etc. ill have panic attacks if im in a room full of strangers unless my husband is with me. also some ppl who r materialistic, entitled or have big egos constantly care how they look they feel the need to look their best to keep up their reputation. my mom is like that unfortunately very entitled and materialistic. another type who cares r influencers they feel the need to always look good for their fans and followers. so this isnt entirely true. for the average person yes it probably is but if u take into consideration like job interviews or other situations where u need to look ur best then it becomes untrue again. ppl will always care unless its for a reason like me i dont care bc as long as i dont care and my husband still thinks im pretty wen i look like s*** my anxeity stays under control and my breathing and blood pressure stay normal. if u say u dont care and dont have a reason to not care then ur not fooling anyone.

The most difficult part is looking at the blank sheet of paper. When I start drawing I have no idea what it’s going to be about, but somehow the idea just pops in my head. The topics I cover vary, but I pretty much cover anything about daily life struggles, from the Covid pandemic, work-life, and just being a human.

If you asked me what style I have I would say my style is “very badly drawn.” I’ve started these drawings every day during the lockdown. I’ll continue drawing as much as I want to and hopefully won't get bored of them soon. My inspiration comes from funny things I notice. Every day I see something funny that I want to capture. If you want to create art I have some advice for you. Just do it. Don’t strive for perfection, it’s the enemy of productivity.

I’m a millennial and I don’t like using my home office. I literally rent a space I don’t technically have to have because I need the separation. I’m not corporate America but I think people with corporate jobs probably need to be in the office where their head is in the game and they feel the pressure of having supervision. I think shorter work days and shorter work weeks is better than working from home.

Sitting in traffic and getting lunch doesn't count towards working hours, they should be outside the circle or the circle bigger to make any proper comparison. Also still, productivity in the office is higher than at home (despite many people working from home claiming otherwise).

People complain about all the side effects of stuff like that but the easiest solution, not buying cheap crap online anymore to feed their (rather sad) desire/addiction for consumption, seems too difficult for them.
