Exactly two years ago on February 1st, I accidentally came across the ITP Challenge group. It is a group of wonderful people who motivate face painters to take part in everyday face-painting challenges. Two years and over 730 paintings later, I still reach for my brushes and paints every day. Most of my paintings are just small simple doodles (you can see them on my Instagram), but from time to time, I manage to paint something bigger.

One thing I loved about that movie is the insane amount of theories there were behind the movie. You kinda have to read the book to figure some of them out, but it’s quite interesting all the same. I quite like the idea that they used the colour yellow for Coraline’s coat because it is used in a lot of horror movies/stories (Georgie from “It” has a yellow rain coat too, plus the creature from “Jeepers Creepers” has yellow eyes)! They knew what they were doing when they made that movie, but I don’t think they realised how many kids & adults alike they were gonna freak out! 😂

These are so good! I love the good mix of anime, Tim Burton, horror, and other pop culture. Have you ever seen Kowabon? Let's just say the antagonist has a very creepy and haunting design ;)
