We all have different ideas for cuteness but we noticed a common tendency on the Internet. It usually goes by taking some pretty random everyday objects, for example, a door, and shrinking it to the tiniest version of this. And here you get instructions to make something called a fairy door. It's a miniature construction usually set into the base of the tree where people can leave little notes with their wishes for fairies or tiny gifts. Some artists even put them up in famous locations like the Golden Gate Park for people to enjoy looking for. It can also become an incredibly cute part of any interior as this woman found out. Soon after she posted her discovery on Twitter, people started sharing photos of these tiny adorable doors. Scroll down to see the most adorable list of fairy doors!

That's Oberon's Tavern in Ashland, OR!! I go there every year for the Shakespeare festival, and I was actually in A Midsummer Night's Dream (which Oberon is in). They actually engraved acts 2&3 into the bar, which were the scenes I was in, and they have the bombest food and drink. There's also NBC Monopoly and an old Nintendo 64 with Mario in the back. I'll be there in a few weeks, and OMG the bathrooms are themed like the two groups of characters in the play. Seriously, I should stop, but I love it there so much.

I see your fairy doors and raise you gnomes! Around Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA an artist painted lots of little gnomes and mushrooms on blocks of wood and secured them to an untold number of telephone poles. 7 of them can be found on just my street. The artist is a mystery but if ever one gets damaged it will be replaced pretty swiftly by another. I love it. download-5...f8f168.jpg

Not fairies, but I highly recommend watching "The Mystery of the Kansas Gnome Homes" on Youtube. Not sure if it's real but it gives me the good feels! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLoBWpiOczQ

My amazingly talented brother sent this one to us several years ago, he had seen one with his daughter and she had fallen in love, so he made a few. As a side note, my daughters who are prolly too old to believe in fairies still staunchly believe in fairies thanks to this lovely little door. FAIRY-DOOR...3e09bc.jpg
