Pudin and Flan is a comic loosely based on its creators Destinee Cleveland, Jackie King and James Averett. It has really been a labor of love for us. We are creative people with similar goals. Our unique backgrounds and experiences are what made our comic what it is. It’s been an amazing ride and we’re lucky that we had each other while we worked on this project.
Our original goal was to create a funny little comic about ourselves but... it’s become something so much bigger. We now have a chance to bring about representation for everything we find important in our lives and the society we live in. It’s like our speaker box and we want to give people something that they can relate to while making them laugh at the same time.

I'm the one who likes to talk about deep/wild/stupid theories just for pleasure. I'd like to be loved for that, but I often find out people are just tolerant instead of understanding. This situation would be perfect if the boyfriend understood and liked that s**t. I'm not sure about it, though. Maybe he doesn't get it, but just loves her. Would it be enough for her or would she find it disappointing? :)
