This is why I prefer analog watches over smartwatches. Yes, they may seem cool and futuristic but analog watches will never go out of style.

My beloved Pacific NorthWET doesn't generally even bother with the sunny days except for the occasional teasing sunny Friday before a 3-day weekend that will be damp and muddy consistently.

Basically if you want to get anywhere across the Willamette River near Lake Oswego. They adamantly refuse to build a bridge there, meaning at least a 10 mile detour north or south.

Recently I tried to find a microbrewery in a city I was visiting. Google Maps had me literally going in circles! I finally said f--- it and eyeballed my way. Now I use an app my friends recommended.

Left out the nearly naked pictures of women everywhere. And the graphic might—as-well be naked sex media sex scenes.

I think that I could almost forgive the mosquitos if they didn't insist on keeping me awake when they manage to get in.

I love it when this happens. Two artworks and only put the effort into making one of them. As long as it leaks onto more paper and not tablecloth that is.

the Ohuhu brand books come with plastic sheet thingys for this exact reason- and the sheets work nicely for color testing!

Folks without headphones are just as perfectly capable of this behavior. In fact, the ones who can barely look up from their phones anymore are arguably worse.

Ironically it's the bigger dogs that are more behaved than the little rats that go splat under my foot

I have given Spouse THE PHOTO that I want used if I ever go missing, get murdered, commit murder, or anything causing the news to need a picture of me. Worst kept secret on Earth: Yes, it has one of my dogs in it too. Everyone looks better when happy.

This is a bit judgemental. Every person deals with pain in different ways, and pays homage in different ways, too. You can go to the cemetery every week and buy expensive flowers as a "show", so that people can see what a wonderful person you are... Or you can mourn in private and try to do every day something positive to keep that person's memory alive. The price and number of flowers on the tomb doesn't prove anything. For me, what we bury in the cemetery is an empty shell. No need to go there to pretend you are crying. If you need to go, fine. But don't criticise people who feel different.
