Observational comedy has always been and will forever be appealing. Therefore, it's no wonder that Anton Gudim's hilarious comic series "Yes, But" continues to maintain relevance as our society is doomed to contradict itself.
If you have been living under a rock and haven't seen any of Gudim's work, well, then you are in for a treat! The artist uses a funny comic format of two panels where he illustrates the most common contradictory everyday life moments and adds simple yet powerful words - "yes, but".

This is why I not place a fancy lightshow in my garden, especially in the season animal need rest. I do have some in the window on a timer module, which switches off at 22:00 and automatically on at dawn. (I live in Europe, and am not involved in military of any form. This is how we communicate time in a culture where a day has 24 hours)

In the '70's, I had a pair of striped toe socks that came to my knees. Ugliest things ever, but fun!
I've always felt that the monochromatic grey outfit makes one look like some interchangeable cog, that there's nothing unique or special about them, can substitute any other monochromatic cog. Just having colorful socks doesn't override that feeling.
It's sad when men can only express themselves through their socks. On the other hand, there's a guy at my church that wears Pizza Hut socks with his expensive suit. Hilarious
It's not the suit nor the socks I judge by, it's the shoes. If you don't care enough to wear decent/clean shoes, you lose a lot of points with me.

This happens to me all too frequently but the worst is when its a thicker lid like metal and the last little bit is fighting you and then when you finally get it off, the soup or yogurt splashes back at you.. 🤦♀️

Cartoons like this shouldn't be puzzles. The attraction is supposed to be the message about society, not the thrill of deciphering what the artist is trying to say.

Many are a bit... Inaccurate to the theme. The birthday cake you made yourself doesn't look like the pictures and now you need to clean up... Oh no! Next up, the same thing showing you the cost of the cake vs the ingredients. Seems overly critical and niche-irritated at specific nuances.
