I used to work in a graphics department of a bank and a temp was fired for a bad cutout that would have been seen by a few hundred at most yet these images are being seen by millions. Does nobody check these things?

Honestly, you have to wonder how many of these ever made it into print. It's also sad that many people feel the need to photoshop something as normal as a hand on someone's shoulder. It's not like it's detracting from someone's glamour or attractiveness - which I assume is why they do most of these.
