Now that the coronavirus has us working from home, our pets are pretty psyched they get to spend more time with us. And, unlike our actual co-workers, they are less likely to annoy us (if that's even possible) as well. It's a win-win.
Recently, Twitter user @aubviouslynot asked her quarantined followers who have pets to tell her what their furballs have been doing most recently, but everyone had to refer to them as their 'co-workers'. After her online fans started uploading amusing pics and stories, others couldn't resist the fun and also joined the thread. As of this article, it has over 213K likes and 13K comments, many of which are just too adorable. Continue scrolling and check them out yourself!

In the face of the pandemic, our pets are safe. Currently, there is no evidence that companion animals can be infected with, or spread, the coronavirus which is affecting people. Nonetheless, it is important to adopt good hygiene practices which is beneficial at any time, not just during the COVID-19 crisis. Animal welfare expert, Dr. Samantha Gaines advises washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water after interacting with your pets and their items and avoid being kissed or licked and sharing food with them.
Making sure you understand that equipment belongs to the home office!
Dr. Gaines also said that social distancing shouldn't have too much of an impact on your pets but it's worth planning for what your pet needs should you be required to stay at home. "For example, you will need to make sure you have enough food and water for your pet, any bedding or substrate they need for their enclosure and if your pet requires regular medication, enough for the period you need to stay at home." You should also think about who could help if your pet needed to get medical attention. "It is possible to get help from friends, family or items quickly delivered to your door but thinking about this now can help you be prepared."
That is the prettiest cat! I got lost in its eyes for a sec. Weird I know.
Top Gun reference for y’all who don’t know

Isolating yourself for prolonged periods of time can cause loneliness, which might trigger symptoms of depression. But caring for an animal can make you feel needed and wanted, and take the focus away from your problems, especially if you live alone.
Aw, so adorable. On the TV today there was a piece about Yorkshire Terriers becoming an endangered breed because they don't photo so well and people want dogs that photo well for instagram and the like. 🙄 Stupid reason to pick a breed and such rubbish - look how cute this doggo is!
Our dog was like this. He always came to meet me on our porch everyday. I started having an allergic reaction on the school bus &the driver oh the bus had thr school get hold of Mom so she rushed me to the ER. When we got home she had to leave me with Grannie and rush my dog to the vet. He freaked out and had a nervous break down over it. He was on meds for his nerves from then on.
It's hard to watch when coworkers or anyone else engages in too much PDA.
A Cuddle Puddle is NOT Social Distancing ! But it is just adorable 😻
I have giggled to myself about picturing this for an hour. Too funny.
I have a human coworker who does this on occasion. I would gladly take this over the one I have.
Ouch! I have several of those myself- one was inflicted on my face.
I think you also didn't pay him for his work in tuna so it's not happy!
Wow! I've been scratched countless times, but that looks like an attempt to severe the arm. I hope you put a lot of antiseptic on it. Get well.
I have three cats who take turns sleeping in the bathroom sink.
Animal Control, The Pound where I live, has waived all adoption fees due to the Carona virus!
I bet Crookshanks approves.. I hope I got the spelling right, don't want to be told off, again..😁

Load More Replies...Do their hair lengths decrease with the proportion of black? (The pure black one has the longest gair and the one with the most white, the shortest).
Same. I'm not even working from home. The doctor I talked to on the phone, thinks it's just a regular respiratory infection but still wants me to say home for a week, as a precaution. Actually, my cats are my bosses as the orange one just corrected my thoughts with a look.
I was wondering how the hell a cat managed to get all the way to the ceiling fan, then I scrolled further.
Load More Replies...Took me a minute to realize that they are standing on a finger.....so tiny!! How the heck did you find the s..........?
Awww he looks exactly like my coworker. Right down to the M tattoo on his forehead.
So freaking cute oh my gosh I love kitties that stick out their tongues
I never realized so many people had bunnies..or is it one person with many bunnies?
Has your co worker been meeting some one in the stock room? Nesting is a sure sign of PG.
Poor co-worker is clearly stressed and needing comfort! Very cute bunny!
I have a co worker like that. She chose a bad time to go on vacation for a few months to visit her grandma
Aww. This is the type of company you want during a quarantine. I can’t be bothered with humans.
Yeah this quarantine is really making some of our co workers to go beyond stress.
I have two who will do this, but it makes me laugh...it's the toys (office supplies?) being dropped in the water that give me pause.
Yeah - our MC does the same thing. Many of his toys wind up in any available water source.
Load More Replies...my cat kept doing that until I realized her water bowl had a bit funky
Anyone one remember the Kinky Friedman song? Waitret, please waitret, come sit on my face...
My coworker wants a raise cause she is doing all the work ! tellawerk-...04bbab.jpg
Dogs are better than humans, mostly. This is one of their faults. (But then can dogs have faults?)
Boop! And has no one else been entranced by a fan?
I think your coworker is high. Probably a violation of company policy.
Aww! Is it a long hair chihuahua? It is sooo cute!!!!
Your ear is unlike co-worker's ear. Perhaps he thinks it's another orifice.
-boop- this is the type of animal you want when quarantined, none of that human nonsense.
Ok, so I have procrastinated on my work for the last week. What do I present at the meeting?
oh oh ow! no! peeling that patch back off that fur! owww

Gaming setup must be amazing for the work at home deal!! Wish I had that setup!
And here I was thinking that Chinchillas were highly productive. :/
Good morning person l, thy dominates the comments
Load More Replies...I see what you got over there on the right. Are you sharing with your co workers? Maybe you should. (Well share with human co-workers anyways).
I'm loving your work area. Especially that donut. Bagel?
So that's not a human face in semi profile with a jutting cheekbone?
Eh? Why? If they are carnivorous they can deal with bones etc so their own teeth are no problem and possibly they have the instinct to eat them.
I suspect they are omnivorous... thinking a child not a pet
Load More Replies...I have lots of coworkers, they are taking advantage of my current situation and working me to death with extracurricular activities. Hashtag bullying at a workplace. Thanks, not Tim.
My coworker stepped on a cactus with no shoes and made us all hold her down to get the needles out of her feet.
This is so hilarious! It is nice how these animals are keeping us humans company. Sometimes fellow homosapiens are not enough!
My Shop Assistant has decided to nap during our working hours. I've decided she's smarter than me.
