Bored Panda reached out to Kristina, who kindly shared her perspective on short haircuts and how they have changed people’s lives.

Kristina’s life was also heavily influenced by getting a short haircut. She shared her story: “I have been wearing short haircuts for a very long time now. When I first got a short haircut, it changed my entire life. I connected my inner and outer self; my soul and my appearance harmonized. I realized that a short haircut is comfort, style, it's sexy and beautiful. When I studied to become a hairstylist, I knew I wanted to show women how happily they can live with a short haircut, how it can change their lives, reveal their beauty, make them striking, bright, and beautiful.”

Since a short haircut had an impact on her own happiness, we asked Kristina to share more about the emotional transformations she witnessed in her clients as they transitioned to shorter styles.

“Yes, the lives of my clients have truly changed. Some became more confident and found new successful jobs. For others, confidence after a short haircut led to meeting a loved one, getting married, and starting a family. Some finally connected with themselves, feeling light, free, comfortable, and simply happy. A lot of changes happen when a woman breaks free from the stereotypes of long hair and embraces freedom of thought,” wrote Kristina.

Considering the personalization aspect of Kristina’s work, we asked her how she tailors short haircuts to suit an individual's preferences, personality, and overall charisma.

Kristina responded: “I take into account all physical and physiological data and features of a woman—her hair, appearance, bone structure of the head, facial features. I also consider the client's preferences, their style, what they want to convey through their image.”

Kristina also shared the techniques and styling principles she employs to achieve the desired results and enhance the overall look of her clients.

“Starting with the fact that hair must be well-groomed and healthy, there should be a good quality haircut and texture. Styling and personalization are also crucial; it depends on my understanding of the client, their style, and the harmony with their overall appearance,” explained Kristina.

The hairstylist also shared her opinion on what role self-realization plays in her profession, and how she sees it reflected in the transformations she brings about through her work.

“I believe that being a hairstylist is a highly creative profession, where a person, like a sculptor, can express their talents. But it's also working with people, including psychological work. It's important to connect mentally with the person, to be able to listen, understand, feel, and help a woman gain confidence, and improve the quality of life through a haircut that wears well, grows out well, and is easy and quick to style,” shared Kristina.

And lastly, Kristina added: “When I help a woman become beautiful, confident, and vibrant, when I can realize my creative ambitions, I feel satisfied. I want to show the world how beautiful a woman can look with a short haircut! A woman is free to choose the length of her hair, and she is very attractive and sexy with a short haircut! The main thing is that the haircut is of high quality, well-groomed, and emphasizes the beauty of the woman.”
