30 Women Who Were Up For A ‘Blind’ Makeup And Hair Transformation By This Russian Stylist Duo (New Pics)
Even if you haven’t heard of the insanely talented Russian duo bringing smiles back to women’s faces, you have probably seen their work on social media. The Moscow-based makeup artist Oksana Trunova and hairstylist Olga Tarasova have been leaving everyone stunned upon seeing their “blind makeovers.”
Having started five years ago, the duo helped to create new looks for thousands of women who wanted a change but didn’t know where to start. “Do something,” the clients would tell Oksana when she still worked in a beauty salon, and that’s when she realized it takes a lot of work, creativity and magic to make a truly dramatic change that makes people shine from within.
So scroll down to see some of the most breathtaking transformations made by Oksana and Olga, upvote your favorite before and after pics, and make sure to check out our previous posts on the “freestyle makeovers” by the talented Russian beauty duo here and here.

А skin-blurring photofilter is usually conducive to that. :)
Load More Replies...Her face is turned in the new photo so it makes it look like it's a facelift but it's just her head turned to the side
Load More Replies...Idk why you got downvoted. Here, take my upvote
Load More Replies...There is a lot more going on in these pictures that just a new hairstyle and make up.
I would like to see the before and after pictures either both WITh or both WITHOUT filter.
Looks great on her, what a difference. It was between 3,5, and 15. To me she is the winner!
Bored Panda reached out to the Moscow-based makeup artist Oksana Trunova, who, along with her colleague, hairstylist Olga Tarasova, has been ‘freestyling’ these incredible makeovers, helping many women leave the salon way happier than when they came.
Oksana and Olga have been doing these makeovers for many years now, and they said they “realized that women are all beautiful, but for many reasons, many have forgotten about it.” “For example, they may have been affected by the loss of a loved one, leaving work, illness, etc.” Oksana said her goal is to “bring back life and confidence in them.”
The makeup, filters, and editing doesn't hurt either....most of these after pics have it
I hate it when they don't include glasses in the makeover. Not everyone can or wants to wear contacts and not everyone can afford multiple pairs of glasses. If you want to look prettier every day, you have to include them. Snd even for a dingle occasion you might not be able to take them off.
Just what I was thinking. My daughter is both extremely nearsighted, and known for her quirky glasses style. She worked briefly at a salon, and one of her co-workers did her makeup for her. I love the picture of her, but it's not my favorite. I like the ones where she has glasses on. It's just part of her.
Load More Replies...When asked if every woman is happy with her makeover, Oksana assured us that “everyone leaves happy and everyone likes it, but sometimes we ourselves are not happy with the work we’ve done.” The makeup artist also said that it usually takes 3 days for a woman to get used to her new looks after the transformation, and that’s when she feels her best.
Agree. The orange clashes with her natural reddish skin colour.
Load More Replies...If you put too light a foundation on her face, it looks artificial. In the second photo, the skin of her hand is in contrast to the skin of her face.
Beautiful curls with the new look. Still thick hair but with an actual style and looks really healthy hair instead of tired. Looks great!!
"Thick" hair is always wonderful when it's healthy!
Load More Replies...I absolutely love the change here. The new style makes her look very chic.
Moreover, very young and teenage customers are the ones Oksana usually has the hardest time working with. “As a rule, they themselves know what they want,” she explained.
"After coming to our salon, our clients learn to do their makeup that is not noticeable, yet the face looks fresh and well-maintained,” Oksana said after being asked if clients continue to use what they learned during a makeover after they leave.

I think the way they did her bottom liner on the right looks nice. It's much lighter and softer, possibly just smudged eyeshadow rather than actual eyeliner. That hard line on the left is really unflattering.
Load More Replies...That’s what I thought! The resemblance is uncanny
Load More Replies...I prefer the darker hair. I feel like her eye color pops more with it darker.
My last month paycheck was for 11000 dollars… All i did was simple online work from comfort at home for 3-4 hours/day that I got from this agency I discovered over the internet and they paid me for it 95 bucks every hour…www.earn96.com
Oh, please. Merkel is in desperate need for a makeover and a diet instructor.
Load More Replies...I wish they would show them how they looked when they walked into their studio with their own makeup on. I have no doubt the professional makeup and hair would be nicer but a lot of them probably still look very nice walking into the studio.
When you're beautiful, make up only enhances what God gave you. Her eyes are stunning!
If you notice, most of them, if not all, have the camera angle to the side a bit.
Load More Replies...My favorite so far. The cut really brings out her eyes and gives her a face lift with the bangs not being on her forehead. Don't really care for the make up though.
Very old-fashioned. She should have reddish highlights. She looks better though
Load More Replies...The hair and eye makeup changed a young woman with a pretty face into a eye catching beauty.
I hope she likes it; the color looks great on her, bringing out her eyes.
second pic: shabnam hairstyle! (this is a joke she’s a fanon character)
There are a few Karen haircuts here! Maybe they don’t have Karens in Russia?
Load More Replies...At first I read ur comment as "liberian" and was so confused XD
Load More Replies...It's kind of hard not to apply foundation evenly...
Load More Replies...What an amazing talent the stylist and makeup artist have. I love the fact that these women are still recognizable as themselves! Such gorgeous work. So refreshing from today's trend to make ourselves up and photoshop ourselves into something that is unrealistic and weird.
Miss Cris, when it comes to you, Less IS More!
Load More Replies...Wow, not much make up, but a huge difference. Really makes her eyes pop.
She's gorgeous. I've noticed that half the women in this gallery are wearing some version of this haircut
But it needs to suit face foundation with hand foundation.
Load More Replies...Maybe in your view, but many of us think it is lovely.... It is tempered, soft and gentle, qualities that you clearly don't embrace!
Load More Replies...This is exactly why you don't get eyebrow tattoos! Look at the after picture.. That's the BEST a PROFESSIONAL makeup artist could do, having to work with such awful tattoos.
You should STFU.... Miss Cris... You're the only Karen that keeps raising her ugly views!
Load More Replies...IMHO, they should have gone back to grey (or a light color) and brought out her curls. That look, judging from the before picture, is gonna be hella hard to maintain.
I agree. the frizz is b/c her hair is actually curly. Grays are more coarse and if you try to stop your natural curl, it frizzes. I think natural gray would look good, layer it up and use a good conditioner and styling gel to fluff up her curls. It would be so easy to maintain and probably suit her really well. She looks great in the after but feel like this is too much to maintain.
Load More Replies...In the after look, she looks like someone who knows a lot of things
I wonder what suits her personality better? Both look good, but both say different things about the person.
I actually really dislike this particular short haircut that many people seem to be getting. It’s just my opinion but I only think very specific face shapes can pull it off and I’m not a fan of just cutting peoples’ hair off and calling it a style. I prefer the before photo in this one because she looks more genuine. But that’s just my opinion, not anything to try and counter yours. :)
Load More Replies...Maybe I'm wrong, but I kind of think the "after" photo makes her look older.
With a tiny bit of work sorting the bangs, I like the "before" better.
This woman seems like someone I wanna talk to. She looks like she's funny and interesting in the before and the after.
I actually love the red hair, but that's because I love red hair with green eyes. However, the "before" picture is fantastic as well.
See, maybe I shouldn't say it but this person shouldn't have bangs if this is how she's going to style them. Her "after" look will probably be the same as the "before" look after one wash, just a different color.
I’m assuming these women were excited to have a makeover, but honestly, they began to all look alike — and the presentation was terrible. Especially the hands in all sorts of weird positions around their faces. What’s up with that?!?
Yes, came here to say this too. A hand in the frame just looks awkward.
Load More Replies...I see a lot of make-up and photo manipulation. The women get their picture as a sort of a high and will probably crash spectacularly when they realise they cannot replicate the look on the photo. Depression waiting to happen.
this hairdresser is most likely from a small town in Central or East Europe. Definitely not my style but at least it looks simple and the make up is not overly done to look like drags, like in previous posts.
Moscow, according to the Instagram bio, so not exactly a small town.
Load More Replies...Just let them be happy. With or without makeup it's their choice and has absolutely nothing to do with you.
The vast majority of the improvements come from make-up. A LOT of make-up. I don't know if I would want to deal with the time and money to look "better" on a regular basis. The amount of foundation would be caking and rubbing off on everything.
And it tends to only look good in pictures, not in person
Load More Replies...Some of these were underwhelming & with too much makeup. Also- hard to tell if filters is what changed their looks as opposed to hair & makeup
That's a lot of photos to push once more the old narrative of : Look what a new hair cut, a lot of make up, a smile and Photoshop can do for you.
Some of these are giving me ‘Glamour Shot’ vibes. Look it up if you don’t know what Glamour Shots is- you will get a good laugh
