We have come a long way since the dark times of first-wave feminism when for a whole 70 years, women fought for their right to vote. During second-wave feminism, a fight began for a wider range of issues, from the workplace to de facto inequalities, family and many more.

With the French philosopher Simone De Beauvoir’s “The Second Sex” released back in 1949, it paved the way to the more equal society we live in. Today, we will shortly be heading into 2023, but sadly, there’s still a lot to do. From the gender pay gap to the pink tax, to the lack of women in positions of power, our society is still pretty much governed by misogynistic and sexist attitudes toward women.

Luckily, there’s this corner of Reddit known as “TrollXChromosomes” which joins people with zero tolerance for sexism of all kinds. Below we wrapped up the newest batch of the posts shared here, so scroll down and be sure to check out our previous article right here.

same. Also I live in a country where going to military service is mandatory for every man, they keep their rifles and ammunition at home, yet there has only been one reported case of someone shooting someone with that gun in the last 20 yrs (a man killing his ex gf). Wonder why.

The sad part is, it's our politicians who are blocking abortion regardless of the nation's views. Upwards of 70% of Americans want to protect some form of abortion. You can obviously argue that we elected these idiots, but in many cases, it's likely gerrymandering at it's best.

The thing to understand about America is that there's an amendment in our constitution that guarantees the right to bear arms: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This made sense in 1791 when it was passed, but clearly the world has changed. Regardless, anytime gun control is brought up, certain people start squawking about their 2nd Ammendment rights. It's so frustrating.

I have a brilliant idea. This may take some time to digest, so before I get any knee jerk hate just sleep on it…. Let the little “ temptresses” wear pants. I know I know, I’m sidestepping the main issue, but I have a suspicion that the truly sick in this situation might not be who you think. Maybe if the girls weren’t forced to wear skirts like it’s still 1850, there’s be less worry about said skirts.

If most men had as little self control as some people seem to think, they should never have any power ever. House arrest would be more appropriate. Seriously, real men do not rape, exploit or otherwise hassle any woman or girl. Regardless of what they may or may not be wearing.

This is exactly the main point. In every country where abortions aren't legal, the number of them is just more or less these the same, just not made by professional in a safe and steril environment. So infections that leads to death and sterility are much higher.

I dumped a "Bible study" I was going to when one of the women in the group stated that it was God's will that women who underwent abortions suffered or died from them - that it was their punishment for having such a procedure done. I had brought up this exact point - banning abortions isn't going to stop women from getting them, only stop them from getting safe ones. She was like, good, that's what they deserve. It's "God's will" that they suffer and die from getting an abortion. Nope. I'm outta there.

Sexism is linked to beliefs around the fundamental nature of women and men and the roles they should play in society. Sexist assumptions about women and men, which manifest themselves as gender stereotypes, can rank one gender as superior to another.

Despite legal frameworks set up across Europe and the US to prevent discrimination and promote equality, women are still underrepresented in decision-making roles, left out of certain sectors of the economy, primarily responsible for unpaid care work, paid less than men and disproportionately subject to gender-based violence. Sexist attitudes, practices and behavior contribute to these inequalities day to day.

I think the issue is that not just are they taking away abortions they aren't providing alternatives, if a woman can't have an abortion but she has access to birth control, planned Parenthood advice and all other means to protect from unwanted pregnancy I see that as a win-win for both sides ."you can't have abortions but we will do everything to ensure you can prevent an unwanted pregnancy and if that fails we will also provide means to protect you and your baby." You can't pull the rug of people and expect them not to complain.

I think this guy did it right. If the woman said she didn't know him, then he should have alerted someone. If he jumps right to alerting someone, we now have a scene in which the guy recording is getting interrogated or worse, accused of of being inappropriate and called out in front of everyone (who may jump to their own conclusions and start berating an innocent person). The woman now finds herself having to difuse the situation and now their both likely upset and embarrassed for no reason. Why jump right to worst case scenario when a quick, discreet conversation can clear everything up?

Ooooo, a bra strap! I’m so distracted!!! Face it, teenagers are hormone fueled anxiety machines. Every male teenager (heterosexual )is going to get distracted by girls no matter what they wear. And I don’t know what to tell you about homo/bisexual teens. I suppose you could just send everyone home. Anyway, if an adult approaches a young woman and tells her she is too tempting to be at school, then that teacher is a problem. Male or female, that adult was fantasizing about teenagers and is trying to shift some shame.

First off, we have to make one thing very clear–sexism is harmful. Not only does it produce feelings of worthlessness, self-censorship, and changes in behavior, it causes a deterioration in health and wellbeing. While sexism lies at the root of gender inequality, it affects women and girls disproportionately.

According to data from Human Rights Channel, women spend almost twice as much time as men on unpaid housework (OECD countries). Moreover, a whopping 80% of women stated that they have been confronted with the phenomenon of “mansplaining” and “manterrupting” at work.

Also, before everybody joins the Shawn-Shane beat down, I am thinking he was being very self-aware of the situation and was going for very perceptive and sly humor in spot-on support of VDM's point. She probably figured out a naked body is nothing to be ashamed of, but blackmailing is. We were all born naked and most naked beaches and saunas are very serene and safe places Netherlands, Europe...). No need to be ashamed of nudity.

sending them to a partner to tease them a little, as a memory.. stuff they can look at as a lot of us don't live with our partner.. I, as a woman, like nudes of men I've been close to, it's a special kind of intimacy. Of course those pics are just for my eyes, I don't show or share them. But yes, I've become very careful with sending some of me, if I do it's only to someone I fully trust and taken from an angle where it's impossible to tell who it is

The future is hard to predict, and you most certainly will not be the same person then as you are now. Love has a tendency to hack our emotions, and though you may be madly in love today, and think that the future looking promising, things may go haywire very fast anywat. In fact the high divorce rate is a good indicator of how bad people are in general of predicting the strength of their relationships and what will happen in the future. Therefore: Do not ever let someone have such a powerful tool that can be used for blackmailing as nudes can be. Just don't send them to anyone, as they can easily be copied and end up somewhere where you certainly do not want them.

Mansplaining comes from the assumption that women and other non-men don't have the intelligence to understand the topic at hand, which is a sexist and misogynistic assumption. The mansplainer will explain something that the woman probably already knows already, usually in a condescending and infantilizing way.

To find out more about this type of aggression towards women that many of them face on a daily basis, especially at work, Bored Panda reached out to Nicole Froio, a feminist writer, researcher and sociology PhD student.

Despite the fact that mansplaining has received quite a lot of attention and acquired a really bad reputation, many men do it nevertheless. Froio argues that an unconscious ego is to blame, “where they believe they're the most knowledgeable person in the room.”

Have y'all seen the new Doc on Netflix called the "State of Alabama vs Brittany Smith" it's a short watch. But it's another instance where a woman doesn't have the same rights as men.. but how when she's the victim she is literally punished for being one!

Pretty sure that never happened...but I fully agree. Something worse than death for the rapists. Murders take a life, that's beyond horrific, but every once in a while we've all thought, "What they did was wrong, but I get where they were coming from". Rape ruins a life forever. and that is a worse act to commit than just taking one. There isn't justification for it.

Yes, Republican Tony Tinderholt tried to push a bill that would charge women who have abortions, or the doctors who performed them, with homicide. This was in Texas, where such a charge is punishable by death. The bill did not pass, but that doesn't stop Republicans from their continued assault against women.

just do not date or marry babymen. Just ask as one of your dating questions on your first date: do you know how to cook? Do you know how to clean? Becasue you must know up-front that I don't often do them, and you'll be doing them if you care to have clean clothes, dishes, etc. If he runs, then you dodged a bullet. Also: women, please stop allowing your sons to learn to be incompetent. Force them to learn to cook and clean like my maw did.

Changing oil in a vehicle is as easy as washing dishes. Just takes a little more physical effort. Anyone can learn in ten minutes. Women don't have an excuse for not changing their own oil anymore than men don't have an excuse for not cleaning the house

On other occasions, the feminist writer believes that men simply can't help themselves. In fact, Froio argues that men who mansplain are mostly oblivious to the fact that it’s demeaning to women. “Which is why I always recommend that people ask whether the person they're speaking to knows what they're talking about. It's just polite to check so you don't spend minutes telling them things they already know,” she added.

I was out one night and a young lady was having a great time on her own but I could see this very creepy guy watching her and slowly moving closer and closer. So I went over and said "Hi, Amy! All I know is, if men had to shed the lining of their testicles every single month we wouldn't even be having this conversation. They'd be off work the first couple of days of their cycle and pregnancy would be equivalent to sports. However, I do think the contractions would literally kill them.

I disagree. I saw all three of my kids come into this world and was able to catch two of them. (the third was just too fast and the nurse was there first) I still stand by saying it was the best thing I have ever seen in my life. But that being said, the mother still has full say of who is going to be sharing this with her, no one should be able to infringe on that.

Alternatively, tell every single member of the team involved in your labour, that your husband, AND NO-ONE ELSE, is allowed in. It's your decision, and you have the right to say no.

I’m a husband, I didn’t want anyone in the delivery room. I got pissed when anyone showed up. Hell, I still don’t like it when people show up at my house. Dude needs to get something sharp and cut his own umbilical cord first.

For any woman experiencing mansplaining in the work environment, Froio suggests to politely respond in ways that make men know women are also knowledgeable. “So for example, saying things like ‘I know’ or ‘Yes, that's exactly what I was saying!’ or simply showing the person you're speaking to that you know what they're talking about by interjecting with a piece of knowledge on the subject you are talking about.,” she said.

I don't get it how religious argument can be used in such topics? I mean we don't have one universal religion, we as community all have various beliefs. Why my life should be affected because someone (and I don't care how many of those someone's) think differently? I don't make others wear strainer on their heads

The first thing any christian learns to do is cherry pick bible quotes for the conversation at hand. Why else do you think they broke what would be normal prose up with chapter and section numbers?

Also, if a person is a Christian, they fallow the teachings of christ, not the old testament. Every thing they try to quote from the bible is old testament and has nothing to do with Christianity.

I'mma get technical for a minute here, but the bear attack thing was most likely on teenagers, according to the original translation and *most importantly* the cultural context surrounding the story... All the rest? Yep. Baby murders. Infanticide. Slaughter. Etc. Not disagreeing with the post, (for the record I actually agree with it -- also not advocating for teen murders), just being "that guy". *shrug*

In Christianity a baby wasn't considered human before it was baptized and couldn't be buried in a cemetery if it was stillborn for the longest time. And while they try to criminalise abortion when it's done at the woman's demand it's still not murder to cause a woman to lose her baby against her will by attacking her or even killing her while pregnant because legally the unborn have no rights and are still not considered human enough to call their death in the womb murder if the woman was attacked or dies as well.Think hard about that.

Most importantly, we have to start treating men's opinions as they treat everyone's opinions, Froio argues: “as opinions and not inherently knowledge.”

“Do not be afraid to interject and disagree. It's important to openly challenge this kind of behavior. I don't know if that means it'll be stamped out for sure, but it's a daily battle to make ourselves heard,” the feminist writer concluded.

Fourth graders in the US are 9 yo, turning 10 for a point of reference on how much they are still children. It’s awful that we make it the girl’s responsibility to cover up rather than teach the boys respect, restraint, and boundaries.

Just ran into a similar situation this year. My son's a senior and they were preparing for senior photos for the yearbook. Boys were instructed to wear suit jackets over a shirt, and "girls will be provided a black drape". A BLACK DRAPE. Why not just make them red, in preparation for when they're adult women in the US? /s

That's what girls have been wearing in their senior photos for decades. It's just a piece of fabric meant to look like a fancy velvet dress without having to actually put a dress on. I don't think that's on par with this post.

For some people, it isn't simply a matter of not wanting children; they don't want to be pregnant. They don't want something growing inside them. They don't want the physical changes and health risks that come with pregnancy. They don't want to suffer the pain of childbirth. Adoption does nothing to resolve those issues.

We have to let out our frustrations somewhere without being invalidated. So it built up and is spilling out via 2nd degree murder apparently. 🤨 🤷🏻‍♀️ Okay, I feel like I need to clarify that I don’t have any homicidal thoughts!!

This guy is obviously a bit ignorant when it comes to female bodies but is it entirely down to him? Almost every picture online or in magazines is airbrushed to an unattainable standard. So when these young guys see a real woman, they are confused and think something is wrong because she doesn't look like the media portrays women. I worry for my nieces because the pressure to achieve this look is only getting more intense.

I actually think that's beautiful. I have a vein stretching from my boob to my armpit that is visible sometimes and I thought it looked so cool. You can see veins in my cheeks too sometimes. This guy is too used to seeing fake airbrushed women and clearly has not been with many real ones. Or human being for that matter, men have visible veins too.

Never understood what makes people comment negative things on someone's appearance. Like why do you care? No one makes you look. Just don't, that simple. What do they want to achieve by critisizing? I seriously don't understand their subconcious/concious desired outcome

Here's a lovely anecdote for you: when I was in high school I already had a pair of big boobs, 🤷‍♀️. At gym class three girlfriends of mine and I were running laps and chatting. They were talking about boobs and they stated that they had small boobs, yes, but at least they didn't have those big boobs with veins, and how they were disgusting. I was like 🙁 but I kept it to myself because well, my boobs were big and, being as pale as I was, they were also kinda veiny. Looking at it now I realize thay were just insecure about their appearance (as I was, by the way) and they tried to lift themselves up by tearing down someone else but still, at the time, I felt bad and very self-conscious.

US laws are slow to catch up to the reality of technology (or changes in social norms). It's not that it was legally condoned, it just hadn't been explicitly made illegal until it became a problem.

I'm teaching my kids (both of whom identify as boys), that there is nothing acceptable about preying on others. I know a lot of my friends and family doing the same thing, and hopefully, we can continue to weed out those who would hurt others.

yep! benevolent discrimination is a thing for other marginalized groups too. for example, stereotyping asians as hyperintelligent academics is benevolent racism. it places a lot of pressure to always succeed no matter what & to follow a career they may not like. same goes for "wholesome" articles about disabled people "succeeding against all odds," placing the responsibility of overcoming adversity on disabled people instead of holding society accountable for making more things accessible. disabled people who can't "beat the odds" get told "well so-and-so did it, why can't you?" one last example, a mix of benevolent sexism & racism: the all too common trope of the "spicy & exotic" latina woman in media, as it portrays latinas as nothing more than overly emotional sex objects.

Like how the hospital I work at calls us nurses and other patient care health workers "heroes" instead of taking actual actions to reduce fatigue, staffing ratios, and a bitterness towards travelers they bring in and pay 2-3x as much $$, that we desperately need because so many of us quit because they weren't paying us enough.

I had 6 major gynae surgeries before I broke down and begged for a hysterectomy. I was 35 when it finally happened and we already know I was infertile due to chemotherapy and couldn't carry a child to term due to my illness and subsequent disability so IVF was not possible. Despite this on the day of my hysterectomy the doctor asked if I was really sure about having it done because it would make me "less of a woman" and asked if my partner was ok with that! I explained that it wasn't anything to do with my partner (we had talked through it at length, he just wanted me as well as possible). When he looked at my notes and saw that I had been bleeding vaginally constantly for six months he said he now understood why my partner was keen, as six months without sex was too much for any man! I reported him!!

I was diagnosed with cancer when my daughter was 17 and I asked about just having a hysterectomy (I also have PCOS and Endometriosis) I was told the cancer cells had to come back 2 more times before that would be considered 'medically necessary'.

Guess it depends on what type of cancer. Cervical cancer caught early is pretty easily treated and followed up/screened for. There are high medical risks with a hysterectomy. The doctor has to weigh the risks and benefits. It's not some simple procedure- just take my uterus out. All kinds of things can go wrong with a hysterectomy. Uterine Cancer I'd look for another doctor.

Plot twist: Each of these snakes is assigned a social media account, some of which acurately identify the snake, some of which lie, and some of which have copied photos and identifying information of harmless snakes, but the snake associated with the account is aggressive and venomous. The men must now each choose a social media account, and spend an hour in the same room as the associated snake. Not all snakes are dangerous, so they should be okay, right?

I read an absolute game changer the other day, can't remember who or where so if anyone does... Basically, the time when women are most "irrational and might do something stupid because PMS hurr hurr hurr" is when their hormone profile most resembles that of a man. Increased testosterone, decreased oestrogen mean an irrational, bad-tempered and occasionally violent woman is merely acting like a man 1 week out of 4. I think it's probably men who shouldn't be allowed near anything more dangerous than a paperclip.

I know you're joking but it's the shift in hormones that causes the issue, not the hormone levels themselves. Progesterone drops rapidly before menstruation so that the uterine lining comes away. It's the same process after birth (massive progesterone drop) that partly causes the day 3 baby blues (feeling weepy for a few days after birth, not the same as post natal depression)

Isn't it odd that having "balls" is used in a way that means a man is brave or tough or badass and in reality all you have to do is pretend to hit a man in the groin or watch a nut tap in a funny video and it evokes a real physical feeling of pain in said man who is in no such danger? It is literally the most sensitive part of the male anatomy just hanging out there waiting to get injured and they think it's the epitome of manliness.

Most men I meet are not really in contact with their feelings. Meaning that they bever were taught to analyze what's going on with them (are you uncomfortable or joyous? What exactly makes you feel this way?) and to actually say it. They are raised to ignore everything and be fine with everything. This concept doesn't sound like a healthy one to me. I prefer to work and communicate with people who are able to understand themselves and actually communicate it to others. So yes, the you are a girl and therefore hard to understand and predict concept is weird to me

My close friend changed her last name because she wants to know association with her parents anymore. She is Blessed. It's kind of a nice idea to change your name to a word that represents more of you. Perhaps more people will start doing this. Last names came about as a way of discerning this Sam from that Sam. Sam butcher or Sam the blacksmith. Lee that lives by the waters or Lee that lives by the rocks. Pretty simple but that's how it all started

If the man and women aren’t red heads, but have the recessed gene, they make redheads. I was, at most, strawberry blonde as a kid. My hubs has dark brown hair and a few red strands in his beard. My son is a flaming red head and still has the same color in adulthood. His family always made jokes about the “milkman”. Obviously, that’s not a thing anymore, just a lame joke from Sicilians that wanted the first grandkid to have dark hair, like themselves. Too bad mil married a man of German/Irish descent, lol

... and please also tell them that there doesn't have to be trivial romantic side story in all movies. I am so tired of this "everbody needs someone to complete them idea", resulting in movies where you can predict who ends up with whom after the first 5 minuttes. An action movies can be interesting for the action scenes alone, and there is no need to include a bond-babe in each and every one of the films. We have seen that 10 times already, now move on and invest that screen time in something important for the plot instead.

People who only have one kid (especially through adoption) tend to get harassed just like people who don't want kids. And why do you need a boy? Is this a hereditary monarchy? Many of them now have the oldest child, regardless of sex, as the heir apparent.

The one great thing about turning 50... people stopped asking when I was going to have children. We love our no-kids life. And before anyone asks, yes - we love the god-children, the honorary nieces and nephews, and even some of the friends kids. But we also love that we get to send them home! Kids are fun, but not for everyone's life.

The problem, I'd say, is not that they're attracted to them, but rather that they act on their attraction in creepy ways and they can't take a hint that their advances are unwanted. I know some people might not agree with me, but I don't think there's anything wrong with attraction, just with actually acting on it

Yep. The DSM-V actually says that pedophilia is a disorder, but IT CAN BE TREATED. It even says that if the person knows their attraction is wrong and is trying to get help for it, they're not a child molester. Draws the line between "extremely confused and scared/ashamed person getting therapy" vs "child rapist"

No doubt I’ll get downvoted to hell but: I suspect this is often a genetics issue -ATTRACTION (not how you act on it) is not something you can control. Men, and women, are genetically coded to procreate - young post pubescent females are likely most fertile and most likely to have a surviving child. That being said - what you do with these “urges” is another matter.

Uh well the ‘attraction’ is a wild animal instinct but I think the real problem is ignoring that instinct because humans aren’t animals and we have a modern CIVILIZATION. Plus if humans are complete wild beasts we aren’t cute or fluffy enough.

There are tests given to sexual offenders that measure attraction to different age groups beyond the individual’s self report. It’s actually expected that healthy adults will have attraction to adolescents, it’s called hebophilia, in addition to other adults. Incredibly gross and creepy if you ask me. Even college kids look like babies to me!!

It's because young girls often are still figuring out themselves and thus are more easily influenced into believing it's normal for a man three times your age to be attracted to you and wanting to make you his girlfriend who then gets to cook and clean for his adult-a*s because according to him that's how its supposed to be.

They may not be aware of it, but what they are indeed attracted to is their fertility, and hence a higher chance of passing their genes to the next generation. Much of what we may call "love" is in fact mechanisms build by evolution to make sure that we procreate and take care of the next generation, so the genes lives on. And fact is that a woman's body is much more likely to succesfully produce a child when she is young than it is when she gets older, which is why attraction to younger women was a winning strategy in the game of evolution, and hence that desire passed on.

Some men in their 40s consider women their age to be no longer attractive, but - somehow - they still are. Aside from movies, tv, books, advertisements, and the entire culture, I don't know where they get this idea.

This reminds me of something tangentially similar. About 10 years ago I was talking to my neighbor’s son. She has been a badass single mom of 4 kids since a year or so after we moved in (she finally kicked the piece of s**t dad out of the house, good riddance). Anyway, we somehow got talking about music and he brought up how he likes Chris Brown, and I said oh you mean the piece of s**t who hits women. Oh, he says, well that’s bad obviously. I said, well how about how he talks and sings about women, how would you feel if someone talked/sung about your mom or sisters that way? His eyes got a little wide and I could see it dawn on him and he said, I never really thought about it like that. Unfortunately he learned too much from his dad, but I think through talking with him a lot I helped give him at least a bit of a different perspective, maybe. 🤷‍♂️

I will say this. the things I believed when I was younger and the things I believe now have changed quite a bit, but that is because life has taught me many things that school and my family did not. I grew up where somethings were just not talked about so I never learned of common problems women had until I got married. One of the biggest eye openers for me was learning how many things a woman had to think about just walking to her car after work. So now that I am older and know a little bit more than I did, I too worry more about how my little girl is going to be treated in the world as she grows up.

I'd say I'm just reevaluating everything I believe because it's something I had been told since birth. Just took one of those assertions, only bad people go to prison, being proven wrong in my life to start questioning all of it. I was told as a kid that women had equal rights and feminists were just angry women trying to get revenge on men and never questioned it for years

This absolutely infuriates me. Even with animals in cartoons. Male wolf, looks like a normal dog, female wolf, has light fur, eyelashes, is smaller and has softer features than an actual wolf! I saw this on giraffes the other day. Normal male giraffe, yet the female had an unrealistic light colour, eyelashes and softer features than I've ever seen a giraffe have. Like, even the female animals have unattainable standards!

This is something I didn't know until some years ago and that I still shake my head about in utter disbelief. I gave birth twice in Europe. Once there were minor complications and my child had to spend the night under monitoring. In both cases, the biggest expense was were snacks from the cafeteria and parking fees. Money was never on my mind. Same thing if you get a C section. And I had 14 weeks off work, fully paid, BY LAW. I simply don't get why women in the US are putting up with this idiocy.

I have had MULTIPLE medical bills and at times absolutely NO money. You can try and go through their billing department... and they will tell you how much you can afford to pay AFTER they go through ALL your bills and income. ( this is a religious hospital). Then when you can't pay due to say the pandemic... they send you to collections ( for $40), after that... possible lawsuits and wage garnishment. Good news as of 2021 (?) They can no longer trash your credit rating due to medical bills. My credit was totally trash ONLY because of medical bills ( no credit cards ever)

I didn't realize that I had been a victim of sexual abuse until I talked about it in therapy last year. A guy I went to school with would feel on my legs, put his hand between my legs, and try to put my hands between his legs. I had to go sit with two other guys to get him to leave me alone. When I was at secondary school (UK age 11 up to 18) it was common for boys to come up to us in the playground and 'honk' our boobs and run away. It was so common that we all just got used to it as a part of normal life. At least my granddaughters will have some say. It's better but still not perfect.

Happened to me at Planned Parenthood when I was asked why I was getting tested. I described a date where I was sexually assaulted. They sent a counselor to speak with me. I'm in my 50s so this happened more frequently than it should have in college. To me it was just more shitty behavior from men and I'm not going to be traumatized by it. So grateful we have the concept of consent now. We need men tobehave better though.

....and how do we know that that is not a man in a skirt? Yes it is not that common, but it does happen (especially in Scotland, though they call it something else over there).

Nice Guys Simps there were Brad and Karen at the beggining for old guys marring 20 to divorce 'em after 30 - trophies collector In Poland we go with: "Kuce" - cause a lot of right wing's men are wearing ponytails (kuc = pony) "Byk" - guy who looks for only having sex and then changes partner (byk = bull and it goes with cow farm association where you usually have only one bull who impregnates all the cows) "minutnik" - one minute man and then he falls asleep (usually they are acting like they're sleeping but they just don't want to take care of their partner's needs after getting laid) "Piwniczak" - guys who were finally freed out from their cellars, but can't communicate in a normal society and builds their frustration based on getting rejected by women. (Piwniczak = cellar inhabitant) "Spoceniec" - fat guy with shower fears that smells worse than football team and doesn't see a problem in it, but he will try to flirt with girls at public places. (spoceniec from spocić się=sweat)

I love how almost every comment on this post is immediately going to labeling the male equivalent as pedos, when that was not the intent of the post. A 40 year old male marrying an adult 20 year old of either gender is not a pedo. You may not like it but they are both of adult age. Not saying I agree with it, but if it is consensual between both parties 🤷‍♂️

Because forced birth isn't about life, it's about power over women. The fact that once born, mother and child can drop dead, should be a hint. It's not pro life, it's misogyny, anti-abortion.

I thought the point was to economically devastate women. More kids=more poverty and many of the states banning abortion give rapists father's rights. Plus there's plenty of "your miscarriage has something that resembles a heartbeat, no life-saving abortion for you".

Foetuses can’t feel anything until they’re outside the womb. Meanwhile, what will ACTUALLY devastate a baby is living as a reminder of their mother’s abuser, or their birth being responsible of their mother’s death, or living homeless and starving because the parents can’t financially support themselves

Yeah, women have realized that the 1950s ideal nuclear family is a trap and like agreeing to be some kind of indentured servant. Even today, even men who are into equality suddenly want a 50s housewife (except she works a regular job too) as a substitute mommy once they realize they can p**n off all the household chores. Like there's a reason why women who don't get married and don't have kids tend to be happier. (It's a study!)

Too bad. Everyone knows that the best place to be at a party is either in front of the bathroom or in the kitchen. On the dance floor there is way to many people, it is dark, so you cannot read faces, and there is way too much noise to talk. The kitchen is usually quieter and offering just a small sliver of privacy.

I don’t care what degree they have after their name, anyone who uses the phrase “viably fertile” has a suit made of human skin in their basement.

I have a bunny (her hubby passed which is why she is a lone bun) and 5 human children and I gotta say, my bunny is the most dramatic, sassy and loving little thing I've raised so far. Bunnies can be extremely entertaining, as I'm sure you know. My reply to you really had nothing to do with the actual post, I just wanted to say hello to a fellow bunny parent!

Both my boys were about $500 each because of adoption fees and neutering and stuff. Best $1000 I ever spent. My bills for their needs and health are a fraction of a human child plus I don't have to worry about finding babysitters if I want to go out and they're much quieter even if they bark at leaves falling.

My eldest's most frequent babysitter was a drag queen friend who lived with us for a few months when facing homelessness, and remained an honourary part of our family thereafter. Referred to as Auntie, regardless of gender presentation at the time - even now, and my daughter is 26. IDK, maybe she'd have.grown up a little less dramatic without that influence? But probably not, she was just born that way - mostly straight and lots of drama. No regrets on that. Goodness knows I wasn't going to teach her how to do makeup! My youngest is 11 and still sometimes isn't sure who is a drag queen and who isn't - not because he is unfamiliar, but because we live in the village and he's used to seeing so many different people and different gender expressions, he just takes everyone as they are. He does regret that he never got to see me or his grandmother in full drag, though, back when we used to be kings. I gave that up before he was born (asthma and binding were not compatible).

People of colour, Indigenous people, queer/trans/non-binary people, people with mental illnesses - we never could. The police have never been here to protect us. I don't mean every individual officer, of course, there are some well-intended police doing the best they can to be equitable and to serve and protect everyone. But the system has to change before that can truly work. I don't hate police, but I don't trust them either.

Erm I'm guessing he's never had to try to not be arrested. At that point there really is nothing you can say or do that will stop the arrest. It's called "resisting arrest" and adds a further charge to your charge sheet.

right because trying to argue why they have no right to arrest you will make them go you know what your right you are free to go and in the situation the guy did it so he could SA her and unalive her he ain't exactly following the law its like saying read up on the law so you know that you cant be robbed and tell a mugger hey you not aloud to rob me so they will say oh darn you got me and leave you in peace what a moronic thing to say

I was once told I had white privilege by the parent of one of my students. I proceeded to explain I was raised by a single Asian/Caucasian/Hispanic mom who did not look white, was a victim of multiple types of violence and neglect, was assaulted, and I have gone hungry and cold for months on end. I told her not everyone is exactly what they seem.

The President's Commission on the Status of Women, created by JFK, ran from 1961 to 1963. Eleanor Roosevelt chaired it. Part of their mission statement was to make 'recommendations for services which will enable women to continue their role as wives and mothers while making a maximum contribution to the world around them.' A major reason for creating this was so that American women could help in the Space Race, as Russian women were seen as filling a far more equal role in society. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D-1ICYrLqwky5375DnpCbroo_Li1VCWKLns0M7rd49M/edit
