I Spent Two Years Photographing Squirrels In The Finnish Wilderness And Their Expressions Are Adorable (38 Pics)
My name is Ian Granström and I am 30 years old and come from the most southern parts of Finland. I picked up my first camera around three and a half years ago and never looked back since.
I have always been fascinated by nature and its uncontrollable forces, and naturally, I started out shooting nature right away.
In the beginning, I mostly took landscape pictures and photographed small birds, at the same time learning how to use my camera and discovering new subjects. I have always found squirrels funny and loved how different their personalities were.
Naturally, I started photographing squirrels pretty quickly after picking up my first DSLR camera, and over the past two years, I have dedicated a big part of my time to photographing squirrels and capturing squirrels' facial expressions and their behavior. There is never a dull moment when you are around these funny guys.

They were all so cute. So one while I was out today. Hadn't seen one for awhile. At home we have Opossums hiding around the house.

My finnish lapphund Iskko upvoted you 10000 times and ask if he could walk with you pleeeease! He sweared that no squirrel would be harm (don't believe him, trust the squirrels). Beeing the barking devil he his, no squirrel would show up. I know one word in finnish as a french: paimensukuinen, and i can't translate it. Could you give me a link to a "paimensukuinen" addict website who talk english as bad as me, or french? Please, as an animal addict you know someone able to help me to know more about my dog history and family. Kiss from my dog when he was a puppy. 20180627_1...52766d.jpg
