I see your best friend and raise this, my ex, once told me that the reason he was talking to this strange woman on the phone when I came in the garage ( land line stretched allllllll the way out the side door to the garage from kitchen) was that she had contacted him after the SPERM BANK he had donated to fifteen years back gave her his name and she wanted to know if he wanted to meet his children, her quadruplet sons. Truth: she was his gf who was telling him she was pregnant and he better show up, she only had one baby of his, however she did have fifteen year old quad sons from a previous marriage. This was of course a bit upsetting,however not an unknown or unexpected course of things ( the lying) I rage beat up his work room in the garage and filed for divorce. It was either the workroom or him and I wasn't going to jail. 22 years later, he's gone and I, have a lovely bonus daughter whom I delight in! ( It wasn't her fault) alls well..

I once saw an interview of a woman in Indonesia or Malaysia where she was discussing positive points of sharing her husband. She found a woman for her husband to marry! She didn't want her husband to be alone if anything happened to her(she wasn't sick or dying). So maybe this guy was trying to do something like that.

Ehh...it's one thing if you are poly, or have discussed this with your partner. 🤷♀️ It's a completely different story if you are in a whole separate relationship behind your partner's back, and then lying to them like you're using Tinder as some sort of people shelter/friend adoption app.

my ex made my daughter (she was around 26 then) lie to me about a "surprise" trip out of town (she still lived with me) then a few years later she said it wasn't just a trip to see her dad..it was he was getting remarried and didn't want me to know since I may just "flip out" I was like WTF...I could care less. Divorced his a*s over 20 years ago! Was more pissed that he made her lie to me

I really don't understand men. If you know for a fact that a woman won't be on board with your s**t, there will be someone who does, so let that woman alone. You're wasting someone's time and making them do things against their principles without them knowing (yeah, l was made the side piece without me knowing. These are all hard to read but again... I'm gonna call out the BP tendency to man bash. Can we PLEASE strike a balance and occasionally acknowledge that women may tell lies, get caught out, do something creepy, say something hurtful, make men feel unsafe?? Not all women are akin to Astraea (Google if you need to).

This story doesn't fit exactly but I'd like to share... This happened before cellphones were a thing: Boyfriend wanted to prove how much he loved me so he asked me to watch him burn his little black book. He couldn't think of a lie fast enough when, a few days later, I discovered he made a duplicate

The world is full of terrible people. My question to the folks who are blaming the women in these scenarios, is how can you tell who is going to turn out to be a genuine nice guy and who is not? Usually the first clue is discovering a lie... hence these accounts. These guys don't have forehead tattoos or ear tags or smell different... the same is true for predators who spike your drink or random coworkers who stalk women or any one of a host of disreputable jerks. If you really believe that these ladies are just "bad" at choosing men, then help out a bit. Don't be like this. Don't stay silent in support of this. Don't get mad at a woman who wants to take it slow or be cautious. Don't whine about women who try to be diligent and keep guys at arm's length but this pisses you off, 'cuz "not all men". Problem is, good guys and bad guys can look and behave very, very similarly. Until they don't.

Let me give these ladies some advice. If you find yourself constantly attracted to men like this you need to figure why you're falling for the smoke and mirrors of manipulative people. It's likely you fall for others like strippers, aggressive sale reps, populist politicians ....etc. My argument is that there's NO WAY these were a one time scenario. It's likely this toxic behavior was brought to your attention and was dismissed.
