Hey Pandas! We’ve asked what you’ve been doing during quarantine but now tell us what's your favorite thing to do to pass the long endless hours between ZOOM calls and binge-watching Disney+.
going on bored panda
I've been working to make birthdays special for my friends that have a quarantine b-days
Baking and making! I've tried baking for the first time at 43 and so far things have been mostly edible. I've also rediscovered a childhood passion for building model planes and ships. The rest of the time I have just wasted.
Posting creative comments on websites such as Bored Panda and YouTube.
Dude, I'm a RN. I'm just looking to make it out alive at this point.
Practicing my instrument and making polymer clay pins! :)
Gardening. Oh and I'm also making a Rube Goldberg machine.
Making masks right and left. Honestly, I can't stop! It's addictive. Everytime I go to Wallyworld, it's "Oh, look at this cute fabric."
As Alabama would say, “Spend the day being lazy, just being nature’s friend.”
Playing Breath of the Wild on my Switch and learning to make Ramen from scratch, also spending more time with my wife.
Screaming, "WHY DID YOU BETRAY US, 2020? WHY?". Sometimes I throw darts at the computer when trump's face comes up. I also tend to read a lot.
I take my dog Zoe out more than normal and we both are benefiting from it. I'm trying to get my garage in order and I was so gun-ho at first but the wind in my sails have died. Need another windstorm to get going. Be safe all!
Writing. Definitely writing.
Reading, always and forever! For me, nothing offers entertainment better than a good book. You learns things, your imagination gets a healthy workout, your emotions are engaged... I dream of working my way through every free Kindle book on Amazon! Some won't be worth finishing, but those gems that you reread multiple times over the years are sheer heaven.
Cuddling my cat and helping him summon satin
spending time with my sister
I love painting, and drawing, we also got 2 new kittens so im pretty obsessed with them right now
training baby horses
Making storage rooms in my basement into hangout places. It's also fun to make dog toys out of fabric from old, torn clothes.
My wife and I play gin rummy; the winner gets something cool, like the Earth or Canada. Yesterday I won Chattanooga.
Being lazy and doing unproductive things, like binge-watching Netflix and K-drama
Keeping the world economy going while working...
I like playing with my plushies, photoshoots, and tv. Also, THE INTERNET
I’ve baked about 11 batches of cookies since this pandemic started and I have been making crafts.
hatching baby chickens
Taking walks & watching Netflix
Speedcubing (solving a Rubik’s cube very fast over and over again)
Playing video games, (I HIGHLY recommend Steamworld Dig 2) reading, and listening to music.
Realising how life would be if we humans enjoyed the fruits of our labor from time to time rather than constantly producing and amassing them for bosses. Nothing like the quarantine to feel how it is to actually enjoy life for once without man-made responsibilities
Watching tons of DVDs we get from the library, mostly Studio Ghibli.
Yelling at the news
Helping my cat summon satin
(He sits at the fireplace in a pentagram that I made and screams)
I try to grow a bonsai tree but never get round to do it with my pa!
jillian.... to understand you have to watch season 2 episode 1 of 'no activity', american version.
Looking at the art, poems, letters and essays that people around the world are doing right now. I’m an archivist, and the children’s work especially lifts my spirits. I write a thank you letter for each thing we receive, and another wonderful thing has been using Google Translate to say Thank You in different languages.
Texting with my friends!!!
Watching all of the Friends series 5 times!
Going on bored panda, needle felting, playing with cats, and reading.
I guess using Bored Panda? Oh and watching Allo Allo. And doodling. Also, I have been trying to write a book. (Not about COVID or quarantine)
