I'm Rachel Sigmon, a wearable art designer, and SFX makeup artist. I have been creating wearable arts and headpieces for the last 6 years. And doing makeup for the last 12 years. I love working with various mediums and materials for my designs. I am 100% self-taught. I have a knack for creating an inspiring interpretation, whimsy and fantasy works.
I created most of these photographs with my business partner and photographer, Tara Van Rooyen, Elysian Fantasy Imagery. We have a fantasy photography business together and offer clients a unique photoshoot experience. We are extremely passionate about creating beautiful works of art that inspire wonder and imagination. Hope you enjoy!

I thought that it was the Queen of Hearts. The Red Queen was a chess piece.

The most amazing conceptualization of Sea God I have ever been privy to.
I particularly like these headpieces. Have you seen the photos of the (in)famous fancy-dress ball in Russia, cira 1918? https://au.pinterest.com/paperfaberge/imperial-russia-winter-palace-ball~-1903/
The headdress, brassiere, and prosthetics combined with it's flawless composition, make this photograph a true marvel.
Your work is absolutely AMAZING! We sell feather products .... should you ever need any supplies or would like to collaborate with us, please contact us at The Feather Place: z@featherplace.com
It is not a finger. It is either a part of the dress or the picture was taken thru a pink flower.
who says pompoms are not hardcore? They are STUNNING! The craftsmanship, detail and the time you put in as a fellow young self taught artist you have my full respect
The editor changed the caption and she put 'self-thought' instead of 'self-taught' I guess she didn't proof read it first. ☺️
Sorry about that. Silly mistakes sometimes happen :D It's fixed now.

I know your title was meant to be "self-taught" rather than "self-thought," but you stumbled on an important description that we should all aspire to: self-thought is where true creativity lies!
I'm in awe. These are world-class. The photography is excellent. Props to you both! (From a mere dabbler in comparison)
My conclusion after seeing the pictures: People like film producers should hire you, your work are top notch! They're super amazing (Amazing is not enough to describe the wonderfulness of your work tho...) >.<
