Vacation Destinations Expectations Vs. Reality (40 Pics)

I don't think this photo has the real truth in it. As you can see there are 99.9% Chinese shown in this photo. So it must have been when there may be some festival held there. There are totally no foreign tourist in this photo..how come? When I was there last year there were many international tourists all over the world but not as crowded as shown in this photo. So I will say this photo is very misleading.

Actually it depends when you go. That picture looks like it is from a special event not a normal day. Normally it's more locals who picnic and most of them leave Paris in the summer.

noooo I've picnicked there and had plenty of space. It's only been crowded on Bastille Day in my experience.

I disagree! This year I was back to ski after 1st years without even seeing snow and I did fine, plus I brought my boyfriend who never saw snow in his entire life and only fell twice, and I was his teacher.. Don't see where this example can be true if u take it slow and don't think you can learn everything in one hour

Where'd the beach go?

I was in Rio and it was NOT like this. There was room for everyone and there were no stands in the middle of the beach, so I have to ask what was going on at this time? Was there a concert or the world cup?

This is was when we have Pope's visit... Although during the summer, beaches use to be a little crowded, it's not like this!
