40 Twitter Users Share Pics Screaming ‘I’ve Been In Quarantine For Way Too Long’
As we have passed the one-year mark of the pandemic, people online decided to look through the year they have left behind and what the hell they have been actually up to. Over the course of the notorious 2020, we more or less spent our time in the shelter of our homes. If you aren’t a key worker and depending on which country you live in, then it’s most likely you have spent quite some time in quarantine with stricter or lighter rules and regulations. And as what we were used to as ‘normal’ all of a sudden vanished or turned into not-normal, or got blown out of proportion, we all of a sudden had to think of how to get entertainment for us and our households and more or less stay sane.
The popular American actress Brie Larson addressed the internet community on her account @brielarson, asking people to say they’ve been in quarantine for a year without actually saying they’ve been in quarantine for a year. And if you haven’t baked something, put together a puzzle, or purchased tons of gym equipment, have you really experienced quarantine? @brielarson's post, with 34.1K likes and counting, received so much attention not without reason. Being taken away from our daily routines, hobbies, and pastimes and suddenly finding ourselves in loungewear for more than 7 hours a day, 7 days a week trying to help our children make the Zoom classroom work suddenly became the norm. Perhaps you fell into purchasing collectible cartoon figures or gym equipment online, to mourn over shut gyms and your fantasy club meetings.

Well to be fair those pups will grow whether you are in a quarantine or not. I don't know if he was planning to get rid of them in the case quarantine didn't last a year
Growing out beards has also been great evidence of spending a year mostly at home, as well as stacks of series of books that have been devoured during the year the earth stood still. You had a few walls that needed painting? That’s probably done now, as well as completing 2-3 hand-knitted items and re-arranging everything in the living room that needed re-arrranging.

Quarantine or not, there's always an open puzzle being built in this household. Been doing puzzles for over 50 years. Stupendous method of meditation. Doing a collage puzzle at the moment of an art piece depicting a toy room with 100's of toys.

Unless they work construction or in a factory or some other type of manual labor, than they're more likely to be light(ish) brown or reddish boots

Mine confused me too. Though they were black but they are gray. Oh wait, that's just the dust -- they ARE black!
And if you haven’t engaged in baking, perhaps someone that you know did, that one friend that we all have that baked sourdoughs for everyone and posted at least one scrumptious vegan salad photo every two days, since restaurant meals have been replaced with wonders created in the comfort of personal kitchens. Maybe you have turned your living room into a music studio, recorded two or three decent-sounding tracks, and uploaded them on SoundCloud. And if not that, then maybe at least you bought some new instrument and learned how to somehow scratch your favorite tune. And at the end of the day, if you have done none of those things, well, that also could be serious evidence of spending a whole year in quarantine.

Very cute but now what? Perhaps give one to every person who crosses your path kindly? Make a hive for them? I had a whole lot of small hand painted pottery owls once and gave one to every client at that time ( Psychology, not the other, so wash your mind ;+}

When you can already visualise the themes and typical movie traits they all become akin to soapies you can switch on or off and still keep up with the story lines a month later. Hey write a film script.. your story.. just put fingers to the keys, pencil to page and start with one word.. any word will do to trigger your own tale. Guess you might surprise yourself!!

You can't tell the sex from this picture. Those are chickens that are not yet fully mature. Chickens have a gawky adolescent phase. If it's the tall legs you are commenting on, it looks like they may be a kind of game bird. Also, cockerels are chickens, maybe the OP knew that and wanted them.

oops long legs usually means boys roosters..I suppose depends of what breed of fowl and where they are and the purpose... Beginners, always buy guaranteed hen chickens around 4 weeks unless you want to be a murderer or have very angry neighbours at 3 a.m. when the boys start to crow.

My kids are half asleep In class no matter what time of the day they have it. I sit with both and nudge them, telling them what to do if the teacher is addressing them. Exam time has been bat crazy.

I added 18 new 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles to my collection over the last 8 months. I had three puzzles. I was never that into puzzling. I am ADDICTED now.

I lament the day I donated all those many bags of unused and part used wool and yarns to charity.. a huge load at that..6 times more than this if that! I bought I would not be knitting again..I am still not knitting but wish I did at this time.

Ok maybe not strictly Bill Murray.. but you used your imagination and colours effectively... try rough sketching a face or better still. no real styled face or any other subject, maybe still life or scenery a view from your windows and then add the paints as your mind tells you to.. it should work out well..try it!!

I am SO deeply envious of the people that have been quarantined at home this whole time. I'm a painter, crafter, reader, writer, gardener, and no time to do pretty much anything.
