These "outrageous" shoes, as referred to by the designer herself, will catch the eye of every passerby. Though they may not be accessorized with everyday outfits, they will surely spice up your special occasion look.
Kira Goodey, an Australian designer, transforms heels into surreal, unusual, and exclusive shoes. They can almost be considered "sculptures to wear" since these creations are a work of art.

It's as if SnakeSkin Boots and Pink HighHeels had a baby, and that baby threw up shoelaces.
I can't remember the style name of these shoes, where the toes are forced up like that. I tried on a pair at a store. Once I started standing I was nearly screaming, the pain was that bad. I don't know how people can wear shoes like that without being in immense pain. I couldn't even stand in them all the way. Once I put weight down I had to sit back down and take them off. I can wear platform high heels, pumps and wedges like it's nobodies business, but my toes don't bend that way up.
In case of emergency, your shoes can be used as a floatation device.
I would take 5 hours to tie them and then take one step and my ankles would break
How about designing shoes that are beautiful but don't destroy the person's feet? Those shoes were anatomical torture devices
I don't believe these were ever meant to be worn in real life. They're art.
Load More Replies...These are works of engineering as much as works of art. Very impressive. (Although there is NO WAY I would ever wear them!)
Some of these are very weird and some are very beautiful. Not the roach shoes though. Bugs give me the creeps
I want to see the designer where these for more than 5 minutes without breaking their neck.
Only someone who would never be expected to wear these torture devices thinks they should be worn out anywhere ever!
One of the definitions of shoe is “something resembling a shoe in shape or use.” Hence, they are shoes, practical or not
