30 Amazing Parents Supporting Their LGBT Kids This Pride Month

Shame on any parent that doesn't support their child regardless of sexuality!

Suicide and depression among LGBT youth drops DRAMATICALLY with family support and love. How could anyone not love their kids for who they are? These parents are amazing.

I really wish this wasn't an issue anymore. Don't get me wrong, I think it's fantastic that there are loving and supporting parents that won't condone their child's sexuality. I wish that having to "come out" wouldn't be such a hard topic. Yeah, I know, for the majority it's always going to be a obstacle, having to face the fear of being ostracized, but it should be a normal part of society now, and yet, it's still being stigmatized. Anyway, it's great to see this kind of support.

I'll be glad when people don't feel the need to celebrate this. Then you will know normalcy has been achieved.

there shouldn't be a choice about is, you should love your child no matter what sexuality they are... these are great parents

My dad doesn't think being gay is natural but I asked him one day what he would have done if my brother told him he was gay. He told me that although he doesn't understand, my brother is his son and he will always love him no matter what

We are God's creations, our DNA, bodies, chemistry & physiology, self perception. Gay is NOT an abomination. It is how God created people.

My mom never went to pride with me, but to a Kaki King concert, with is almost the same 😁🌈

Not going to lie I teared up a little looking at these. It reminded me that there are amazing people in the world. These are amazing parents.

Stories like this make up, at least a little, for all the horrible things we have to hear about every day. There is good out there if you look for it!

Wow I wish I could be this open about my sexuality with my parents.

I don't agree, but I support their choices, and I hope that they feel comfortable with themselves and their choices. I think that it is awesome that their parents support them.

Why should a parente be proud of a gay or straight son just because of that? Being gay or straight doesn't matter. The whole world is not about what you do with your genitals. Wake up.
