As both a person who is Jewish, and a Religion Professor, I would like to point out that none of these quotes come from the Jewish part of the Bible.......nor are any of these quotes the words of Jesus.

They're clearly missing all the strong women in the "Old" Testament. Miriam, Deborah, Yehudit (she chopped off the enemy commander's head!)... There's so many positive examples. The bottom quote is sung as part of "Woman of Valor" - a song many Jewish families sing as a thank you to the women in their house, which talks about a woman who does business, is active outside the home, interacts with other humans, and generally is uses all of her skills to their full potential. This is about trying to control women so that a person feels an element of control in their lives because they're too afraid of life without being in charge of something...
