“Something I Made” was created in 2009 and has captured the hearts of over 2.9 million people worldwide! Among its many admirers are Karla and Fabricio, a Brazilian couple who decided to leave their regular full-time jobs to start the Rebordação project in Lisbon, Portugal. They create modern and unapologetic embroideries, and one of their pieces made it onto this list! Cemeteries aren't to look scary. It's just films that made it that. They should be beaitiful places to remember loved ones and not be portrayed as spooky and this gate should be ddcorated with angels and flowers, not bones and skulls.

I see your point, but to be honest I'd kind of love to be buried in a spooky place like that. Plus it is important to note that this appears to be a fairly small cemetery and perhaps the circumstances here were a bit different than those of larger cemeteries. Maybe it is a private cemetery, if that is a thing? I'm just guessing though. However, in most situations I agree that they should be bright and happy, a place of comfort where you can feel closer to those you've lost.

No way that is real. I’ve made dozens of tie-dyed clothes over the years and this is impossible. 1) someone this “talented “and experienced in tie-dying would know how to spell tie-dye properly (hyphen). 1) the tag is still white HUGE CLUE 3) tie-dying is all about dye bleeding around the elastic bands, string, etc. there is NO WAY THE MANDALAS would have clean, crisp, white lines of demarcation. And it would be UTTERLY IMPOSSIBLE to for all the mandala petals to have the same exact color, hue, and tint intensity. Especially on the lighter tones like yellow. No way. Dude is trying to pass off a photo-shopped image.

I Made This Forest Spirit
While Rebordação’s embroideries are unconventional, the artists are trying to strike a balance between preserving traditional embroidery techniques and incorporating innovative ideas into their work. They do so by embracing experimentation without disregarding the timeless lessons of classic embroidery. “While we may incorporate techniques like watercolors into our pieces, our goal is for our art to be recognized as embroidery with a modern twist, not simply as 'something' with embroidery elements.”

Soooo…. Do we all have onset Alzheimers or… is this just normal? I don‘t even mean it as a joke. I really plan to go to my doc to have this checked out. Just want to go to my gyn first to see if I don‘t have something else. …. Plus: I get the feeling this might be a female problem. I only ever reed women complaining about this. For me it startet with my pregnancies, so maybe a hormonal change?

The first guy I ever had a crush on was super talented in drawing and making things look real around Halloween we were at the community center and we had been given paint to use for our costumes and he creates a real wound with blood dripping the supervisor came over and almost had a heart attack thinking it was real.

I owned one of these back in the early 70s as a kid. It was like a prank can thing. At the time, sort of realistic looking fake coke / fake barf stuff was pretty new and novel. It's hard to remember but as best I can recall, I think the one pictured above looks a little better than the one I had.

I've said it once and I'll say it again and a thousand more times if I need to. If you ever post your cool creations on here, make sure to watertight mark your image in someway to protect your work. Not only does this allow for viewers to know where to go if they want to purchase one from you, but it will help prevent someone from stealing your image and claiming it as there own. Evertime I see one of these post, I see the cool things shared on them recirculated with other users claiming it's there's

The principal is simple, and whatever you make will be lovely, just because it's stained glass. Accuracy takes time to acquire, I look at the first piece I ever made, and think how much better I could make it now. But everyone else thinks I bought it... Just go for it.
