It is a fact that ants can carry 10 to 50 times their own body weight, which is much stronger than how much us weakling humans can carry.

I love ants so much! Did you know they are the only insects that pass the mirror test? They are incredible, the way they take care of each other, their 'livestock' (yes, they keep other insects, protect, shepherd and take care of them in return for the sap they produce) and their colonies, and kill any ant from another colony that dares to trespass, because they are immediately aware that it's not one of theirs. They also often manage to find a solution and use things that can be used as tools when they meet a pretty serious obstacle during their tandem runs. Brilliant creatures.

The ant does not carry the flower, it is an insect-pathogenic fungus called Ophiocordyceps unilateralis

Though Ophiocordyceps unilateralis is a real and crazy thing that happens to ants, in this instance, it's just a flower.

With a camera, there are great opportunities to find little creatures, then enlarge on the computer you see details that unable with the naked eye, being an amateur, this excites me, I have some shots I have actually printed !!!

So many of these pictures are just amazing. I wish I could've looked at all of them, but the images of the wasps and stuff just made my skin crawl and I didn't make it through them all.
