If you've stopped by to take a break from the mundane day and entertain yourself with a dose of good humor, you're in the right place. Today, we're delighted to share with you the most recent list of single-panel cartoons by the one and only Dan Piraro. If you've missed our previous posts featuring the earlier works of this artist, now is the best time to catch up.
As we read on the website dedicated to Dan’s work: “His humor is inspired partly by his own real-life situations and partly by the eccentric thoughts that pop into his overly active mind. Dan has a rare talent for ruffling feathers with scathing commentary on the mindlessness of modern life, then smoothing them down with his disarming humor, charm, and self-deprecating humility. His intriguing perspective on life easily flows beyond the boundaries of one-panel cartoons and into an interesting, comedic conversation about a plethora of topics. He stirs up controversy, inspires revelations, and pokes fun at everyone along the way, including himself.”

You don't expect it to stand, do you?
Load More Replies...Bizarro puts hidden symbols in his work, the number above his signature indicates how many there are.
https://www.bizarro.com/secret-symbols, you can view the symbols here, but you didn't hear it from me.
Load More Replies...And uh, you don't.🤔 Don't worry the tooth fairy doesn't exist either.🧑🎄
Tendinitis is to do with tendons. I think you’re thinking of tinnitus.
Load More Replies...We Pastafarians worship the Almighty Spaghetti Monster.
Load More Replies...True, but those blamed also provide the most impediment to the "magical solutions".
Load More Replies...Tell me you have cats without telling me you have cats. 🙃
Load More Replies...I let my pups in the yard to do whatever business then go fo the walk. They always have to stop and poop!
Well, *that* was unexpected. I was using his term for himself as if it were the British / Australian pejorative. BP Filters strike again!
Load More Replies...its called candy corn because if you put them in a circle and layer it up it looks like corn.
There is no fructose in corn, it is all glucose. If there is no fructose, how does corn sweeten food products? It doesn’t, until the glucose in corn is altered chemically and changed into fructose. - https://www.courier-journal.com/story/life/wellness/health/2022/07/14/what-to-know-about-high-fructose-corn-syrup/7680954001/
I once asked an employee at a local 'everything' type store where the pipe cleaners were and I was directed to the aisle with Draino. I finally found them but they are called 'fuzzy sticks' now.
o.k. What's with the pies and the alien in a glass helmet? ...and in this one, what's with the lit dynamite over the door jam? ...and the pie ...and do you realize his binary name converts to a paragraph mark? ...or 182 in 10-base. Ah, I think that edible is kicking in...
This comment is an example of why i still love the internet.
Load More Replies...*Love* the Binary inmate number! Hmmm... Works out to '182'. Blink-182, or Turk 182?
Add a pencil-thin mustache, bags under the eyes, and a paler complexion. He's a young Gomez Addams.
I'd like for this person to absorb the pain when I finally get up the nerve to get a tattoo.
Yeah, it's one of the items he hides in his drawings. Dynamite, blueberry pie, little alien, weird bird, sometimes a pipe, and an eyeball. You can also see the eyeball and alien in this one.
Load More Replies...That car isn't moving. It's in the middle of the road ready to hiss at you.
There's "always" a blueberry pie slice, or a stick of dynamite, little space alien / ship, a weird bird, eyeball ...
Load More Replies...The peoples faces though. They just don’t respect a fellow squid!
The pipe, the alien, and the bunny are there, though
Load More Replies...Rene Magritte is an inspiration to him. He was a Belgian surrealist artist. I googled him, his work is quite interesting.
Piraro generally includes one or more of the following items: eyeball, alien in spaceship, slice of pie, bunny, dynamite, pipe, bird, crown, and/or shoe. [Edit: Forgot he also uses the number "02" and the combination "K2."]
ALSO, there is a number, next to his signature, which tells you how many hidden objects too look for.
Load More Replies...It's a bank holdup. Things gotta go quickly. No time to draw side symbols before the cops cover the exits.
Load More Replies...I love this artist so much ❣️ and this is one of his all-time best. Laughing while groaning is probably a valuable skill of some kind. ?😋
Groan-laughing is my absolute guiltiest pleasure. I KNOW I shouldn't laugh but can't help it.
Load More Replies...Also, thatks BP for covering the 'pie' with the share arrow.. 😕 Hammer_3.gif
Unmuted will make those sounds more prominent. 😁
Load More Replies...Especially since Robin, knows how wealthy Batman/Bruce Wayne is.
Load More Replies...You are probably the expert on Krusty the Clown. 🙋
Load More Replies...OMG he's similar to the Golden Age of Warner Bros./Merrie Melodies cartoons where it was a Hatfield vs. McCoy-type battle.
Pigs live in pens (enclosures). So he's kind of introducing his old friend /roommate (pen mate/pal). **EDITED to add - just in case this isn't obvious pen pals are people who write letters to each other. Often strangers. **
Load More Replies...Re: username. Yeah, that's extremely gauche.
Load More Replies...K2 in the vestment, hint at the geological line called the K2 boundary, which is full of debris from the meteor impact of 65 million years ago. ???
The artist hides certain images in his comics. The number of hidden objects is written next to his signature. K2 is one of the images. There is also a crown on the back of the clergy woman's book/iPad(?),and a little alien in it's ufo, in the top right corner. **EDITED to add - I think someone posted a list of the possible hidden objects in a previous comment.
Load More Replies...Just a hunch, but I think a few more "For Santa" pizzas and beers combos and this family might just make the permanent 'nice' list, provided Santa doesn't have those for the other 364 days of the year XP
A whisk broom? I mean, those seeds get EVERYWHERE.
Load More Replies...How TF are you getting 'space aliens' from this? Edit: I'm serious and really want to know.
