I Moved To Seoul From The US 3 Years Ago And Fell In Love With The City (30 Pics)
I moved to Seoul almost three years ago from the US. My plan was to stay only for one year, however, those plans were quickly changed when I really fell in love with the city and the culture of Korea.
While living here, I have been able to take many photos of the city and enjoy my time here even more.

They are lanterns! It was during a festival where people could write a wish or good thoughts on them and then send them down a stream. Not sure how good it would be for fishing haha

Well, these pictures are pretty amazing, because it's clearly not how a remember Seoul! I guess one should always try to find beauty everywhere. I just couldn't when I lived there. Too grey, to dirty, too much concrete and not enough creativity... But (some of) these pictures prove me wrong.
I've seen quite a few of these photographic posts or Oriental cities and liked them all, including this one. One thing they all seem to share is they have coolest alleys in the world. Mysterious and yet inviting.
You made me want to visit this city! I wish I were an English native speaker, too. You can live everywhere and you'll always have a job!
No need to be native. English is a foreign language to me and yet I've been living abroad since summer 2010. But in Korea, it's much more convenient to learn Korean (even if Koreans usually won't expect you to speak their language if you don't look like an east Asian).
