In true GOT fashion this weeks episode “The Last of the Starks,” the fourth episode (and third-to-last) of the eighth and final season, was filled with death, goodbyes and plenty of romance - so viewers responded with plenty of memes.

In April Oreo teamed up with HBO to create the iconic opening Game of Thrones sequence using cookies, however, each title sequence is unique - only three places have been seen every time during the opening - The Wall, King's Landing, And Winterfell. “You can go so much further and deeper with the tool set now than you could back when we did Season 1,” said Wall. “The first seven seasons, there’s an impressionistic aspect to the title sequence that I really like in an 8-bit way, in the same way that you would like Minecraft. But the new sequence is rendered with so much more accuracy and fractal detail,”creative director Angus Wall told BuzzFeed News
The ‘Game of Thrones’ season premiere drew in a record 17.4 million viewers, but we guarantee not every fan can afford HBO. Which is why the season seven premiere, set piracy records with 90 million illegal viewings in 72 hours. But guess what? HBO is sort of cool with it. HBO CEO Richard Plepler said in 2013, "“Well, look, it’s the good news and the bad news, right?” Plepler said. “The good news is that a lot of people want to see it. Over 12.5 million people are watching it legally. And most of that pirating is occurring overseas. We’re going to do what we can to bring that down, and we’re going to do what we can, obviously, to bring that down in the United States as well.”
Fans have been complaining about how horrible this season of Game of Thrones has been but how bad could it be compared to the pilot episode.
