At least since the French Revolution, equality has served as one of the leading ideals of society, yet the further we get into human history, the less likely it feels that we’ll ever get to its truest form. And yet people keep fighting, keep searching for a means of achieving it for the 98% of the population.

The first step—call out the ridiculousness that the privileged are pushing as the norm. The Facebook group called “The Other 98%” has been trying to do just that with their informative yet witty memes and posts. Bored Panda has previously covered the good work they do, so if you’re interested in reading more about that, please click here

But today, dear reader, we’ve got you some more hilarious remarks on the current state of affairs shared by people sitting in the same boat as the rest of us, whilst the millionaires laugh at their tax write-offs. As you scroll through, please upvote your favorites and leave your opinions in the comments below. Now let’s dive straight into it!

I know a Drag Queen in Belfast who uesd to do readings for children at a local library. She dressed according to the situation and kids love her. Well, some morons went crazy about it and she had to stop.

That’s so sad 😔 Reminds me of the drag queen who read to kids but a bunch of men came in yelling death threats and stuff. Saying that the drag queen was ‘traumatizing’ the children (yeah, because she was the one shouting death threats at a room full of little kids 🙄)

PREACH!! But what does that have to do with money and calling out the rich?

View more comments

Class conflict, also referred to as class struggle and class warfare, is the political tension and economic friction that exists between the rich and the poor. In the political and economic philosophies of Karl Marx and Mikhail Bakunin, class struggle is a central point and a practical means for effecting radical socio-political changes for the social majority, known as the working class.

Mike Savage noted back in 2016 that economic shifts started to pose challenges to understanding how social classes are changing more broadly. The shifts—especially the wealthy elites pulling away from the majority of middle- and low-income earners—seem to be shaping world events. There is a strong anti-elite feeling across developed nations, and it’s not difficult to see why.

TO BE FAIR (and this in no way is me defending Elon Musk because it's his engineers that do this, not him personally) the more rockets we get to outer space and the planets, the more we have a chance to get there ourselves. The Cadillac with the mannequin astronaut thing was bonkers, though. Now that's a vanity project.

Yes, it's kinda awesome when some rich guy says other people making too much money is a bad thing. Most rich guys don't do that. But at that time he was so wealthy, he couldn't be bought. The Bull Moose did great things for the country, he even took a bullet one day when he was campaigning. He created the national park idea, he fought monopoly, and he wanted to be the guy that instilled the idea that the USA is the greatest country in the world. He was mostly right. F*ck the elephants and the donkeys, we need bull moose energy right now. Obama was halfway there, Trump was trying to be the only gator left after he drained the swamp, and Biden is the guy trying to get enough people on the lifeboat without it sinking, but he doesn't really know. We need another Bull Moose. Someone who is strong enough to help the less fortunate and make the world a better place, and not cower to the whims of corporate corruption. Someone who actually wants to make the U.S. great again.

Before we dive further into these topics, we must touch upon a very important aspect of the current world, and that is the trade war. According to Investopedia, a trade war happens when one country retaliates against another by raising import tariffs or placing other restrictions on the other country’s imports.

Despite Donald Trump’s claim that “trade wars are good, and easy to win,” neoliberal economists generally believe that it is a poor policy choice, as they restrict, rather than liberalize, trade. As argued by Ka Zeng and Wei Liang, the effect of trade wars is uneven and complex.

The thing is, the US *used to* have higher tax rates on the wealthy, with a top bracket of 91% back in the 1950s. Now it's only 37%, with billionaires using every loophole they can find to avoid paying anything at all.

There have been calls for many in the UK to ensure that at least all the children from low income families get free meals (the income threshold is ridiculous). It hasn't come close to fruition. The US isn't the only government pandering to rich people.

From 19 April 2022, children whose families have no recourse to public funds can get free school meals if their annual household income is: less than £22,700 for families outside London with one child, less than £31,200 for families in London with one child, less than £26,300 for families outside London with two or more children, less than £34,800 for families in London with two or more children or if they are in receipt of benefits such as income support, job seeker allowance, etc. Of the 10.6 m schoolchildren in the UK 1.89m get free school meals. This includes years 1 and 2 which are automatically free. With the cost of living as it is the definition for low income needs rethinking sadly.

And yet everytime corporations lose a dollar of profits, they fire 1000 people. Why doesn't anyone talk about the millions that the corporations saved by cutting back on office space, by not having to provide everyone a desk anymore or a phone, and having the employee now pay for their own electricity and internet so we can work. We could all get our phone, internet and part of our electric bills paid and they would still be saving hundreds of thousands.

    View more comments

New trade barriers imposed by the initiator of trade wars will protect or even create jobs in specific industries, but other related downstream sectors will lose due to the higher costs associated with their imported parts and intermediate goods. In addition to creating winners and losers at the domestic level, trade wars will also have an impact on the rest of the countries that are not directly involved in them.

What is it that drives class wars? A common answer is taxation and a seeming lack of fairness. Polls show that most voters across the political spectrum support higher taxes on the rich, with about 80% of Americans saying they are frustrated that very wealthy people and corporations don’t seem to be paying their fair share of taxes, according to the Pew Research Center.

What you don't do is accept those loans, then fire people anyway. The problem with the airline and other industries is greed..pure and simple. Gov't gave them money to keep people on the payroll, then they fired/retired them. Now that things are open again, for "some reason", they can't meet demand.

Democrats aren’t the ones complaining about helping middle and lower class workers. It’s literally the Republicans who want money given to those who don’t actually need it and who won’t use it to help their workers. The heads of the corporations took that money and still laid off their workers, and cut back on wages and benefits for those who were left. They put the money back into their own pockets instead of the payroll/benefits it was intended for. This was all legal, because that’s how screwed up our system currently is. Democrats are trying to actually help those who need it, and conservatives are suddenly losing their minds over “handouts.” The right is fine with making the rich richer, but god forbid you do anything that will improve the lives and futures of the people who are actually suffering.

Book banning makes me nervous as hell. Any time a political party starts banning books, you know they want to control the cultural narrative and insinuate their agenda as deeply as possible. Get rid of opposing viewpoints and thoughts, pile on the propaganda. This disturbing system of events has been growing quickly in my country (the US), and it really worries me.

NO book shoe EVER be banned. Books are thoughts committed to paper and banning books is like banning thought. Even the worst ones like Mein Kampf have there place, if nothing more than for perspective.

Be honest: us Canadians have been not investing in our military for so long because we assumed our miltary-mad neighbor would "take care of everything", the 9/11 happened and where were we? In Afghanistan wearing forest camo. It was embarrassing. We have to support our military, too, just don't go to the insane level that the US has enjoyed for decades.

In Japan, I pay less for healthcare than most Americans, and yet my healthcare is flawless. No deductible. I pay 1/3. There are caps on the maximum I have to pay per procedure, per month and per year to prevent medical debt. Everything is included. Nothing is left out. It includes medicine and dental. I can go to any clinic I want. I had surgery last year. Was in the hospital 5 days. I paid less than $200. It's sad how many Americans have been brainwashed into opposing their own right to healthcare.

Thank you! The American healthcare complex has conditioned us to always blame insurance companies. Yes, they share some blame. But it’s these healthcare providers that are charging thousands of dollars and are making record profits that are to blame as well. The major US hospital systems are publicly traded on the stock market. They are in business to make money.

It's not just European countries. It's every single developed country except the U.S. Even "poor" countries offer some form if universal healthcare and education. I feel U.S. citizens have been duped into believing that they're better just because they pay for all basic human rights and can buy guns from Walmart.

(I am an American who moved to Sweden shortly after college.) I am more than willing to pay some of the highest taxes in the world since it means that I never have to worry about how getting sick or into an accident might bankrupt me with the medical bills, being unemployed might make me homeless, or at any time I might lose the right to women's healthcare. If you want to badmouth me for "being a socialist" (because you don't know what it really means) then go ahead. To me it means that I am not only willing to pay taxes for these things for myself, but I am willing to pay even bit more along with everyone else so that others can also get these things as well.

And yet, for whatever reason, it seems like an impossibility. A lot of the wealth that we are talking about is in the form of private business wealth, and therefore, there’s not a readily available market value for this form of wealth on which a wealth tax might be based.

Dirk Krueger—Walter H. and Leonore C. Annenberg Professor in the Social Sciences and professor of economics—argues that if you then impose a wealth tax on this form of wealth, the owners of these businesses might take all kinds of actions to artificially lower the value of this form of wealth.

Furthermore, Jim Powell argued that class warfare is a mortal enemy of economic growth and jobs. At the very least, class warfare means “progressive” taxation—higher tax rates on investors and entrepreneurs, eventually reaching confiscatory levels.

What actually is a "gender role"? I'm trying to think of something outside pregnancy and such, but I can't think of anything. I can't think of a single thing a man can do a woman can't and I can think of only one thing a woman can do a man can't. Am I missing something here?

Ray, as to your observations above, you’re missing nothing at all💖. But the ugliness of history begs to differ. Talk to female relatives/friends of all ages, and you’ll hear many different definitions of “gender role” & the categories that fall under it. Google vintage advertisements from the 1960’s & you’ll see some examples.

In 2016 I almost got arrested when I went to vote because I was wearing a shirt that said RIP America 1776-2016. The woman refused to give me a ballot and when I refused to remove or cover the shirt they called the cops who called the city clerk who had absolutely no problem with my shirt and told them to give me the damn ballot and stop wasting her time lol there are laws against campaigning at polling locations but my shirt was not supporting any candidate or party.

You cannot bring political material into a voting booth. Actually, it's within 50 ft I believe. The original point was to make sure some partisan hack didn't follow you in harassing you or intimidating. Unfortunately, Republicans have figured out they could have people volunteer as poll watchers, and they can absolutely use intimidation. In some states these people can carry fire arms, just so long as they don't carry a sign saying who to vote for.

They have the right to believe what they want EVEN IF what they want is harmful or a crime. They simply cannot ACT UPON those beliefs if they cause harm to others. For example, you can believe that being an adulterer is a sin. You cannot stone that person to death for it, though.

I am often surprised (as I am from NZ, which is still largely Christian but not hardcore) by the comments I get when I express that I am agnostic. All that means is I don't know either way, all I do know is that it would be beyond my limited comprehension. I respect religions, I almost envy those who have the security that faith would provide. Whatever tax revenue is realized means less money available for private employers to hire people and less money for consumers to buy things. He continues to say that pay is a matter of supply and demand, meaning that whilst progressive taxation can make the rich poorer, it makes the poor poorer, too.

So what should be focused on? The first priority should be to ensure that taxes are indeed raised to finance the infrastructure spending plans and to maximize the share of spending that is in fact an investment into infrastructure for the future. “The biggest potential injustice I see is leaving our kids with a rotten, overheated planet and a lot of government debt to pay for the spending programs discussed now,” discussed experts on Penn Today

Those groups aren’t mutually exclusive. Not even a little bit. In fact, those who care about the oppressed people in other countries are the same as those who care about the indigenous people in the United States. The ones who don’t care about one of those groups, generally don’t care about the others. I don’t know why so many people don’t seem to understand that the Venn diagrams are basically circles on these issues.

Because white settlers came across the sea, killed most of them with measles and smallpox, and forced the survivors to move to the worst lands, where they couldn't even support themselves. They called it eminent domain -- apparently God told them they had the right to do this. I'm a Christian (or at least, I try to be), but there was nothing Christian about the destruction of so many people and cultures.

CEO's make millions per year while people have to work 2 or 3 jobs to buy food and pay the rent. The minimum wage needs to up and the US needs universal healthcare. It's supposed to be a 1st world country not run by oligarchs like Russia.

Everyone deserves a 'living' wage. But we need to take responsibility for paying too much for too little. A good athlete deserves a good salary but millions to play with a ball. The Kardashians are millionaires because 'we' hang on their every word, watch every move they make, & buy their products because WHY? I enjoy TV & movies but is one person really worth millions to appear on screen? Priorities are needed.

If taxing the rich is not the way forward, then what is, as people that are living paycheck to paycheck have very little to grasp onto. I suppose another revolution is inevitable one day or another, but we shall have to live forth to see it.

I will never understand how women and LGBTQ people count themselves as being republicans. This is the one legal group in America that will, by force of law, bring harm upon you. They want you in their group for face value and nothing more. I'd be willing to say that they care less for you than they do 'for the children'.

*me being a non-binary 16 yo AFAB with long hair cause I like long hair who’s also Mexican and pansexual and has been sa’d and trying to not be sa’d again and being called slurs for pride shirts and speaking Spanish* but my boyfriend is straight but is so accepting and helps me so much and is so understanding he will hold me when I cry after being called slurs or harassed in public while I’m with him, one of his “friends” called him a f****t because “you’re dating a f****t and non-binary person so you aren’t straight” and my bf was like “well I’m attracted to girls and now non binary people, and you just simp over anime girls” then blocked him, I love him so much and am so glad to have him because I feel safe with him, meanwhile my parents cried when I told them I’m pansexual and they don’t know I’m non-binary, and I’m petrified when I’m alone or out with my family, like, and I never feel safe anymore, why tf is America like this I wish I could just bring my bf everywhere as a bodyguard and to hold me when I’m verbally attacked but I can’t because I’m only 16 and we go to different schools and my parents only allow one date a week and the only other safe person in my life is also victim to all this because he’s a trans Mexican with rainbow hair, so when we go out it’s so scary, I’m always afraid and don’t know what to do

Actual quote from this embarrassment the Republicans backed: “Since we don’t control the air, our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move. So it moves over to our good air space. Then now we got to clean that back up, while they’re messing ours up.”

On social media, I made a post defending the need for Roe v Wade. Sadly, over 90% of the people voicing agreement with my post were female, and 100% voicing disagreement were male. It really showed me that the people opposed to RvW are not listening to women.

I had someone tell me women are not losing their bodily autonomy, we're being "forced to deal with the consequences of our promiscuity." I shot back, "But men can still bow out and leave women to become single parents with no consequences?" He said, "Yeah, that's a man's right." I told him that was hypocritical and he told me that's why women shouldn't have sex unless everyone agrees to the consequences. I think the only reason he's still alive is I was stunned by his audacity.

There was always this danger with Roe v. Wade. It's hard to support when states can still put in restrictions. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% pro-choice, it's pretty hypocritical to not be. But there needs to be a law made instead that makes sure that states can't put in stupid restrictions in order to make it harder. Doctors are literally scared to save women's lives right now if they are pregnant because they may accidentally about the fetus.

A lot has been said about how bad US schools are compared to other developed nations but in schools where poverty is limited to only 10 percent of students we actually test number 1 in reading among developed nations. Our problem is income inequality and an especially high rate of childhood poverty compared to other developed nations. Yet every measure to reduce this gap is often opposed by Republicans (and some Democrats) even when they're proven to work because Americans still believe if you're poor you deserve it, and wealth equality is just some bootstraps away. Nevermind that 20 years of study data says that's not true.

Agree. "The Bird Cage " (another Robin Williams movie) was also hysterically funny. But the author of the original post complains about "fake outrage". The outrage is not about drag - it's about taking children to a show where a dude in a thong shows his a$$ to young children. Either the author is truly naive, or intentionally deceptive. In the UK we have Christmas shows called pantomimes, where the older female character is called the "dame" and has always traditionally been played by a man in drag, often the male lead role, the "principal boy" was played by a woman too!

A boomer told me it wasn't "Christian" to erase student loan debt, and we knew what we were getting into. I was like no, we did not. The fact that you can't smoke, drink, or hold office in many places until you are 21, but you can sign five figure loans and be forced into military service is disturbing to me. It's taking advantage of people before they are fully developed. But of course, that's "Christian" isn't it?

Yet Republicans didn't sue to stop the complete loan forgiveness of wealthy people who received business loans during the pandemic. Loans we know a good portion of weren't even used to support businesses and especially not employees.

A “wave” is a term used to describe a significant electoral shift in which one political party makes substantial gains in seats in a legislative body, often resulting in a change of leadership. In any 2020 electoral map, the color scheme is clear: Red is for Republicans, blue is for Democrats. Hence Red Wave ... which did not come to fruition.

If by "they" she means Republicans then no, they aren't "paying the price". Part of that price would result in jail time for Trump, but that a*****e is teasing another run for the presidency. And if not Trump, then DeSantis will be likely, who is basically Trump, Jr.

@Tamara This was posted right after the election, and she was talking about the MAGA Republicans being soundly beaten in the midterms. So yes, they actually did pay a big price, but I do agree with you that it isn't enough. Hopefully charges will be coming soon for Trump.

I will say this, there were some good things that came out the Trump administration. Karens, racists and homophobes came out of the woodwork thinking that this was their time to shine only to make themselves more identifiable and with the help of social media, outed. And people that normally would just sit by in the shadows and stay out of the fight are finally saying "OK, THAT'S IT!" and stepping in to stop the insanity and chaos. I, for one, can't wait to see where this goes.

Democrats still have the Senate, and the slim majority in the House guarantees that the damage Republicans can do will be limited. But the main wins were the fact that the MAGA extremists that were trying to take over elections in many states LOST big time, which means they won't be rigging elections in 2024. So don't just focus on the losses!

When you don't allow children to have feelings, all you are doing is ensuring that they will grow up into adults with either disregulated emotions or numbed out emotions. I know this because I have experienced both. As a child I literally believed that only adults were allowed to have feelings.

Yeah, I'll get downvoted for this, but religion is for those who can't regulate their own morality. Someone has to tell them right from wrong and a lot of the time, they only follow those tenets that suit them.....

It’s not the religion, it’s people. Some religions actually are nice. Like an example, Hinduism, where you can believe in all the gods you want, and you can also not believe in gods. You just have to create more good than harm. You have to help people in the end. Not that bad. It’s not the religion, it’s extremest.

Both Obama and Biden are pretty devout Christians but that didn't stop Republicans from calling Obama a muslim or making all sorts of claims about the White House lacking prayer etc. Meanwhile the man with several sexual assault accusations, who cheats on all of his 3 wives was somehow a messiah president.

The truth is that American Christianity is not actually Christian and hasn't been for a long time. Do they follow the tenets that Christ laid down as rules for a good life? Like love thy neighbour as thyself, do unto others as you would have others do unto you, and the rest? Nope. They hate and they exclude and Jesus probably weeps looking down at how they've distorted his teachings to suit their prejudices. They've given Christianity a bad name all over the world. The hypocrisy is strong in these ones.

I am a Christian and unfortunately I agree with you. There are many Christian's who do their best to follow those core beliefs from the Bible, but many fail to do so. They give Christianity a bad name. But just as we accept anyone deemed by some to be unworthy into our church, we must also accept the Christians who make Christianity look bad. There's no picking and choosing who we let in the church and who we don't. I do not accept their behaviour and beliefs but we have to welcome all into the church, otherwise we are hypocrites. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Even the ones we might call "good christians". It's a frustrating battle, and I see kind, loving and giving people living out their lives humbly as a Christians as they're supposed to, but people not in Christian circles don't see that as much because it's not made public. It's all the loud, obnoxious opinionated, judgmental people who get all the attention and change the worlds opinion about us.

Anecdotes don't disprove the pattern. Polls between 1994 and 2018 have shown while the right has moved a little right the left has moved extremely far to the left. It's easily found and common data. Remember, trust the science guys! And based off of the data yall have become far more crazy than your right wing opponents have. You're both nuts, but you lefties take the cake lol.

if Jesus came back to Earth, none of those "Christians" would recognize Him, let alone welcome Him into their home. Instead they'd hurl insults at Him. Because they picture Jesus as a man made in their (white) image, rather than God's Image. Plus there's no way Jesus was white.

A lot of American Evangelicals are mostly interested in cruelty and control and christianity isn't so much their religion as the vehicle they use as the excuse and justification for that. But people seem to forget that some of the earliest immigrants to north America were religious extremists who wanted to be able to practice with out judgement or public/governmental interference. So it's not like we don't have a long history of over the top Christian or Christian adjacent groups here. What people do get wrong is the idea that the founding fathers were religious. Many of them were deists not Christians. And yes I know there are lovely Christians in the US. It's just that they're not politically powerful, well funded, and loud the way the evangelicals are.

To be fair, the reasons most feminists wanted Prohibition were not stupid, just the solution was. It was because of too many drunk men beating their wives and being unemployed at a time where women had no economic power to get away from them and there wasn't anything like government assistance. So I actually can see the logic behind it but they didn't anticipate all the crime that would result from Prohibition.

Not really. It was a think Elon used to raise capital, without having to impact his personal wealth. Didn't work, stocks in his company, still took a hit. And I do think it was funny. Insulin was given away free, without a patent to help mankind. Pharmaceutical companies may tweaks to the formula as to patent them so they could charge outrageous amounts in the US.

What is ridiculous is that I am a student and have been having to do lockdown (active shooter) drills since I was in third grade. A third grader should not have to worry about being shot and killed by a random guy that got their hands on a gun m, a third grader should be worrying about making friends and which Mickey Mouse shirt to wear to school that day.

As a kid in the 80's, we had nuclear bomb drills, where we hid under our desks. Now, our kids have active shooter drills. F**k, weren't we supposed to do better?

On the plus side, the Nuclear bomb drills were pointless (same age, we never did them ever, thank God) but the sadder point is the active shooter drills are necessary in America. What's more likely to happen? :((

I don't think anyone in America would agree that this is normal. Certainly no teacher or parent believes this is normal. The majority of people in this country want significant gun reform. They don't think this is normal. It is an affront.

My middle school once took an hour out of our school day for a school shooter training. Were to go, how TO FIGHT BACK, and what to do when police and medics get there. It's sad how we had to prepare for this. I was in 6th grade and was taught how to get a gun out of someones hand and tips about body language to let police know that you are not the shooter. Yes, I live in America

Our system isn't perfect but in New Zealand you can start voting 2 weeks before the election day to avoid the rush. In my area an empty building at my nearest shopping centre was rented and opened every day for early voters. And multiple halls are open on the day.

Oregon is 100% mail in and nobody stands in line. There are no lines. However, we still have drop boxes for people who don't trust the mail, I guess. Last November, we had guys "patrolling" with AR-15s on election day. That's suppression.

People are really careless with time. Everyone has their time, and it's a finite amount. When it's used up, it's gone. Time DOES NOT replenish! Every second that's gone is gone forever. It's NOT cheap! It's our very life itself tickling away and there's nothing we can do about this. No amount of fame will save you, no amount of money will buy you more. With every second of your life death comes closer. Time is the most valuable, most rare and precious ressource on earth. Cherish it. Soon it'll be gone and you can't know how much you're left. Could be years, could be days, could be seconds.

Reminds me of the book "The Help." Cleaners, as well as all manual labourers, have always been looked down on by rich peeps. The cost of living in London is so high that ordinary workers struggle to survive there while working. It's like all those self-entitled rich people can't understand that without them there would be no wait staff/cleaners/retail staff/manual labourers for them to take care of their greedy Ar*es

I can't get my medication that I normally take to regulate my diabetes. Why? Because it is one made by Eli Lilly that is now in short supply nationwide. The problem isn't that Eli Lilly isn't making enough, it's that they are short supplying the industry...probably in retaliation of the US government wanting to lower the price of Insulin from their $869 per month price to around $35 per month. I get tired of these pharma companies messing with peoples lives over the mighty dollar. This is why pharmaceutical companies should be non-profit and controlled by a branch of the FDA that regulates drug pricing.

Currently, in the UK, there isn't a decent Political Party for us to vote for. We're basically Effed when it next comes to a General Election. There are whispers on SM of a possible General Strike & even Revolutions. We already have growing strikes (Mail/Trains/NHS- which is slowly being privatised even though we still pay taxes for it) Fire Brigade, and probably more to come.

I stopped all of this in Grandma's garden five or so years ago. No biomass is removed, nothing is mowed down, some walkways are mowed about once a year, and some spots to allow late bloomers to catch up. It looks like a literal jungle the entire summer, and there never is a second of silence - because it's buzzing everywhere and anywher, because it's full of solitary bees and ground wasps and, even wasp spiders - not naturally at home here, but harmless and recognizabe - have made it their forever home. Just by unemploying a rotary blade on wheels.

Same with dog poop. Ya, I know it's different, its not leaves and gross to step in but same thing. It biodegradable but it's wrapped in plastic. Hmm, someone has to have biodegradable poop bags out there. I mean jeez, my niece makes a biodegradable hand bag, theres got to be one for dog poop!!

Ok so there is bio-d dog bags! There should be no such other type of bag every allowed! All apts and dog parks should provide only BD DBs! All lawn and leaf bags should be as well. Ok, stepping off my tiny soap box

Yup. That's where I'm at right now. I work in IT & I volunteer at SPCA full time. Our insurance keeps going up but the benefits keep shrinking. I need to have a hysterectomy because of severe endometriosis. We can't afford it because nothing is covered on insurance. Not even my meds that I need to literally get out of bed & not be in excruciating pain. I'm temporarily in Indiana renovating my late fathers home to sell. They don't even let me get a hysterectomy because I'm 28 & "might change my mind" I literally can't even carry a child. I am 100% infertile. Trust me. It cost me THOUSANDS to learn this since none of that was covered by the very expensive & basically useless insurance we have (which some say is "great insurance" but I'm still trying to figure out where ppl are getting this idea) my husband & I have been together almost 10 years. Married for 5. He's a truck driver & makes decent money. But not enough for my surgery. N he pays more in taxes than most make in a year.

We pay $1500.00 out of pocket per month for insurance and STILL get all kinds of bills on top of it. God forbid you are forced to go to an out of network provider! I wish to hell I was exaggerating! The USA is one f****d up country!

The trade off is that you don't get the same tax breaks. My husband is an independent contractor. He's a truck driver. We are weighing out whether to do this. But then his taxes go up substantially. But it doesn't quite equal out one way or the other because with medical bills, we don't know what they could cost. So we could end up getting divorced so I can get back on Medicaid... all for it to cost More without the tax breaks. None of us should have to choose between being married & being able to have a necessary surgery & long term treatment... of choosing healthcare over cheaper taxes. That's the whole point. This shouldn't be a thing & that's the problem. You say "going into debt" over medical bills... like it's just this normal, totally cool thing that everyone deals with... & you'd be right. Which is also a whole other problem when we pay taxes & yet we don't get to actually benefit from doing so.

It's been discussed in my house. Just to qualify for food stamps and nothing else, would allow us to replenish the little bit of savings that we had last year. I think we would only need six months of assistance to do this.

And then, they might even refuse to edvolve into a life defined by consumation of overpriced stuff, might reject being selfish, or even ... do things about things. Disrupting everything. They really suck. Only mindless is flawless!

I know children in my middle school who completely rely on food banks for their food. Perhaps some people use it for free food but it is necessary. If you decided to get rid of it you would be hurting thousands of people who are already hurting, whether they be homeless, in poverty, unemployed, or f*****g children. If you'd rather get rid of a food bank because a few people are taking advantage of it over keeping it for literal children being able to eat food and not starve, you should burn in hell

How about we keep god & Jesus far away from politics. Period. That's a whole other problem in this country. They shouldn't even be used in the same sentence together. Your religion is not my religion. Yet y'all force that s**t on us everyday. Then cry about gay people & CRT & groomers blah blah blah..... you demonize everyone & everything... including ppl who don't believe in your god... yet I don't try to force you not to believe in your sky daddy.... I don't hate ppl in the name of my religion. I don't want to strip ppl of rights in the name of my religion... y'all are literally the opposite of what you think you are.

... and it does not look like he's doing too well there either. Throwing out people, trying to force the remaining ones to work like two fulltimes, trying to rehire the people just thrown off, and so on and so on ... could be a true comedy, if it wasn't so relevant to all the people who got thrown out and have to live off of something. He, of course, doesn't need any income whatsoever, he won't get old enough to waste away what he already has. Being rich may be ok - but being THAT obscenely rich is something we as a global society may have a word in, and may consider something we just cannot afford anymore...
