I clicked on the Etsy link for this guitar which is sold and it does not say this was made of CD's. Its says made of black irridesent glass.

I am going to do the plate, mirror, window by our front door and the decor in the bathroom.
So I just found this site and I'm so excited to do some or a few of these projects I have kept all my CDs for over 20yrs and I have well over 5-8 thousands of them I am in the process of buying a home and I'll have little $$ to decorate so this is gonna be the best housewarming gift I can give myself Can't wait to start and make my cd decorated room or rooms Thank you soo soooo much for the inspiration ideas

Sure, you break or cut up some old cds and glue them to various objects to make them shiny. Lmao XD and mother of pearl if I hear how "that looks just like mother of pearl!" ONE more time I'm logging off and watching spongebob 😂😂😂
umm i still use dvds for short term backup but used ones whose files are of no use i will try
I really love the Shoes and the Collar, I mean all of them are beautiful but If I had cds right now I would make them in a heartbeat

Been saving them for years, First hung out old ones when we needed to scare birds from our garden they worked well.
Question: kinda silly really, but... how do you break them without cutting your hands in half? Little buggers are pretty thick :/
Kitchen scissors, the kind used to cut through chicken and carcasses....I didn't mean to make that sound gross.

Super glue, wood glue and grout will work for most of these projects... Any hardware store can tell you what is best for each project.

How do you glue them together so tight and neat so your hand will not be cut into the sharp edges?
