I did this and bent down to pick up my keys and must of squished my daughter and she kicked out and popped out one if my ribs :-/ to say it hurt is an understatement little did I know that giving birth would be a thousand times worse ;)

Maybe it's a Southern thing. I loved it when peopled oohed and aahed and--within an unspoken agreement with strangers that perhaps only Southerners understand--layed a gentle, affirming hand on my belly. Even down South, it's all in the context. No one ever touched me, even once, outside of this unspoken "dance" of permission, but I'm sure anyone who doesn't know the steps might be offended. I can assure everyone, though, that it's a long tradition here that was only ever meant to show support, encouragement and a kind of shared joy.

LOL, Everyone misunderstands what that term means, twice the nutrition not twice the calories.

Oh my god! I could never get comfortable, even with hundred pillows! Oh, those sleepless nights in last trimester...

I became toxemic in both my pregnancies, learning that edema is no joke. Can be very dangerous. There's swelling, and there's, "I pressed my finger on my foot 20 minutes ago and you can still see the dimple."

7 months? Surely it should be a lot longer than that..

On average, people find out at 8 weeks, which is 2 months; and it's quite possible that a women had a few drinks in that moment of time

You don't need to abstain from drinking while breastfeeding, just be minimal with it.

I had the occasional glass of RED wine in my last trimester of pregnancy. Special occasions like a glass with Christmas dinner and on Valentine's Day. March 19, 2015 I had my beautiful 10 lb boy. I sure you he's far from "r******d". So yeah, 7 months without alcohol.

Even if you don't know you are pregnant for the first to months you still can't drink while you breast feed from what I read...

Much longer I'm afraid...

I was planning a baby so didn't drink alcohol or caffeine for 6 months before trying for her, nor through pregnancy. Turns out I was sensitive to caffeine so that was a great move and cleared up severe migraines and other health problems and I never really wanted to be drunk ever again after so win win :) Cheaper and healthier

and then more while you breastfeed, right?

I never had Placenta Previa(thank God) but my mom did & yeah she sure was a ticking time bomb! She went to the hospital so many times & the last time they couldn't stop the bleeding my sister was born a month premature, she'll be 32 on the 28th, I didn't want a sister when she was born but I changed my mind along time ago, I love her so much now!
