A couple of weeks ago they were still publishing articles about the dangerous far-right militias in Ukraine and how Putin was right to be worried about the threat from them...

I remember as a pre-teen in the 50s and 60s, cringing in the theatre every time an Indian fell and the audience (also kids) cheered loudly.

Canada. Residential "schools" ... we are still finding thousands of Graves :( so many lives lost and families ripped apart... our government should Be ashamed. And this was happening in the 90s too ..

Remember things were different back then. Back in the 70's we used to play at being soldiers in fields with toy guns. Now kids aren't allowed out so kill each other in video games. Progress???????

I used to play a games called ingress. You walk around town and use the AR app to capture points of interest and destroy things enemy players have captured. A friend of mine was walking back from the pub at stupid o clock and was stopped by a policeman because she looked really dodgy hanging around the back of a church. 'what are you doing at this time in the morning out back of the church?' 'its ok officer. Im just blowing it up.' I nearly wet myself laughing as she called me to pick her up from the police station.

When we played C & I, I was always an Indian. When we played Cops & Robbers, I was always the bad guy. 🤔 I guess that's when my Rebel days began!

In this instance, less troublesome as the "Indians" were actually all Caucasians gaudily dressed/make-up as Native Americans. This fellow went on to become a police officer in America

Where is this show?

I was a kid in the 60s, and I cringe every time I think of all the racist stuff that was just common practice then. Sexist stuff too, but the casual racism really disturbs me when I think about how it was then. I grew up in the southern US, so for many of my neighbors, extreme racism was just normal daily life.
