Some neighborhoods boast incredibly beautiful houses that just demand the attention of passersby. You're lucky if you live in an area that's home to those architectural gems. Of course, we all have different tastes and preferences, so what might be a masterpiece for one could be considered a miss for another. But as they say, there is no accounting for taste.

I got curious about the most beautiful houses our Pandas have noticed in their neighborhoods, so I asked them to post a picture of their findings. Here are the prettiest houses spotted by our community!

Nor I, but could be historically accurate. Some 'vintage' home owners like to keep the look authentic.

Makes it more interesting to know at least the country and region. Even in a small country like the U.K. styles of older houses can change dramatically from region to region.

It saddens me when people attach buzzwords and trending Tik Tok labels to historical things. This isn't "cottagecore", it's a fulfilled means of necessity created before industrialization. The fact that I, too, love it is the only thing I can agree with.

History: This house was built in 1921, and was originally part of a row of fraternity houses for Southern Methodist University. During the 60s, the University constructed new fraternity and sorority houses closer to campus, and left these homes abandoned. For decades, there were about 10 of these homes lining South Boulevard in Dallas, and a few of them were torn down. As far as I know, people started buying the houses and now many of them are occupied with people like me who love the character. Here are some of the houses: Screenshot...0dc6ce.png Screenshot-2021-07-21-at-83033-PM-60f8cb20dc6ce.png

Colorado is in the middle of a multiple year drought. Just look up the fires they have had over the last couple of years. Houses like that use LOTS of water. The rich people don't care and just pay the penalties, most don't care about environment. They are happy to throw money at it when cameras are rolling.

Just to clarify, this house is in Colorado, so yes, there probably is some chemical on the lawn. However, a lot of people in Co, especially in my neighborhood, are nature nuts, so I can't imagine there's a TON of chemicals.

I really like the house, but the lawn is a bit ... uncreative. Then again, who knows how the rest of the garden looks.

Are there houses behind this or is this all one huge structure (I don't mean the house above it on the hill)? I count seven different levels of the roof!? Hate the protruding archway next to the garage.

Mini mansion? You mean a house. The "mini" kind of cancels out the word "mansion".....

Interesting that there is a screen for catching golf balls. They just let golfers break the windows here in Texas.

Is it abandoned? It’s got a very late 90s style.

What I found online: it was built in 1950 by Rudy and Ruth McLaughlin. Rudy was a truck driver and told Ruth he would build her a castle one day, and sure enough, he did.
