Wonderful book -- Easy to read. Alternates between about six pages of traveling across Western US with friends (it's like you're with them), then, six pages of thought about values and how 'quality' is divined -- then back to travel. Different ways of looking at the world are introduced -- discussing ideas just enough to want more (the other philosophers on this BoredPanda list are mentioned). Good book to read along with a friend. Note: middle 1/3 is best.

Brilliant! A must read. Example: "good" used to mean "wealthy." Current example "problem" (implying you could use some help) is now a "challenge." You're on your own tootsie.

I think she meant "times" not "tubes" but the "designer" did not let her edit what she wrote. Wittgenstein is rolling in his grave. Language was EVERYTHING to him. Sorry Ludwig.

yet another BP list of book titles without meaningful description. google philosophy books, pick a few, sit back and let the readers fill in the gaps.
