When coronavirus turned into one of the greatest public health crises back in 2020, things like we knew them before changed beyond recognition. Not only did toilet paper become a hot commodity, but basically, a new kind of dictionary was born to reflect the current times. Hence, the term ‘covidiot’ emerged to refer to someone who, as Urban Dictionary puts it, “ignores the warnings regarding public health or safety. A person who hoards goods, denying them from their neighbors.”
The term has been in use a lot lately, and this is partly due to the fact that, no matter how much worse the pandemic may get, some members of society still act as if not a single thing has changed. The worst of it is that engaging in such behaviors like throwing decadent parties, refusing to wear face coverings, and calling Covid-19 a hoax not dissimilar to 5G puts everyone at risk.
So this time, we take a look at some of the most irresponsible Covid examples that should work as a handbook of what not to do during times of coronavirus crisis. After you're done, check out our previous post with more shameful Covid deniers who refuse to follow the rules and common sense.

To find out more about the surge in Covid denialism during the worldwide pandemic, Bored Panda reached out to Dibs Baer, a New York Times bestselling author of "Lady Tigers in the Concrete Jungle." Dibs said that the reason why there’s still so much Covid denialism has to do with “too many mixed messages in different parts of our country and the fact that “a lot of people don’t believe in basic facts or science.”
The LA-based celebrity journalist and book author thinks that people are in denial because they can’t deal with the loss that’s happening. “The number is so high it almost doesn’t seem real. Overall, it’s mind-boggling. I’ve had two friends lose their fathers recently to COVID. It’s real and it’s devastating.”
When it comes to responding to Covid deniers, Dibs believes that being armed with information is a good way to go. “Like, I live near LA, where someone dies every 8 minutes from COVID right now. I might say something like, 'Hey, did you know that 1 in 50 people have COVID in our neighborhood? I wonder if you’re that one person? Probably, since I’ve been around 50 people today and you’re the only one who didn’t have a mask on!'” He added that he enjoys being passive-aggressive, which is not exactly the same as plain old aggressive.

Dibs also believes in calling people out in a safe way, if possible.“I had to go to the doctor this morning and I couldn’t believe it, but there was a guy sitting in the waiting room without a mask! And the nurse asked him to put one on and he stomped his feet like a big baby. I was about to get up and go help her when he finally put one on reluctantly.” Dibs believes the guy thought it wasn’t manly to put it on.
When it comes to humiliating ‘Covidiots’ by calling them out, video taping can also work, according to Dibs, but it can turn scary if you pick the wrong person on the wrong day. “I find it easier to yell at strangers than neighbors and people I know.” Having said that, Dibs concluded that the best weapon against Covid deniers is information.

Good news! There aren't any microbes in the vaccine, just a bit of mRNA. It can't enter the nucleus, so it won't even get near your DNA, so it can't change your DNA. Your cells will make proteins out of the mRNA and afterwards, it destroys the mRNA. Your white blood cells will recognize the proteins as something that doesn't belong in the body, so it will attack it and learn to recognize it. If you do get infected by the corona virus, your white blood cells quickly recognize it and destroy it before it gets the chance to spread.

I'm kinda enchanted with the idea of a microbe that can turn into a GPS signal. I mean, that is next level biological physics right there. I'm not sure why it would be used to track the day to day movements of boring old individuals though. Espionage usually focuses on more meaningful targets. Spain has very strict regulations, limiting access to stores, its obligatory to wear a mask and there are restrictions for eating out, being out at night, being in big groups etc. I dont like my country for many reasons but this time they did a good job compared to other countries.

Yeah, it's allowed to be on the streets without masks and visit marketplaces. Although there are no usual holidays activities, not even in small cities, but closed restaurants, schools, fines for open faces in stores, transport etc, and Russian patriarch told everyone to keep masks on and closed some churches. You will not see crap like "no masks here" on stores. Some antimasks activity exists though, and stupid ppl too. But restrictions are pretty high for whole country, no matter where you are.

Actually some teams were back playing full contact rugby before the Christmas National Lockdown in the UK, and you can't wear a mask for 80 minutes, sprinting around, tackling, calling, etc... They can play 3 or 4 games and then have to isolate for 10-14 days. I am not surprised at the fact no one is wearing a mask to participate in a sport, whereby they will be running around and exerting themselves.

People need to get that this is not about them, it is not about any single incident ... of course, if I go to the store without a mask, each one time in itself will have a low likelihood of me catching the virus. But I have to go to the grocery store about once a week, so this adds up. There are about 500000 people living in a radius of 20 miles around me, and in every household, one does about the same every week ... the low likelihood certainly will lead to some infections, it just isn't every other week for everyone, only for some. Damned, everybody knows how to avoid contact, everybody could know it works, and the masks are just a little uncomfortable, something everybody can endure... Not that hard. Not that much that is aksed. A little compassion and reason - so little I always have thought everyone has it - is all it takes. Antimaskers are assholes.

Here's the really scary thing, I had a cold over Christmas, and had an appointment for my yearly physical at the first of this year. Even though I did not have a fever, my doctor told me I could have had COVID-19 because it is estimated up to 40% of people who have had it did not have symptoms, and that most of us have probably been exposed at some time. BUT wearing the mask is like wearing a condom-it protects both people.

This makes my blood boil. Due to being medically extremely vulnerable I haven't left the house other than for hospital appointments, treatments and scans since March. I have not been in the same room as my partner for 10 months as he works in hospitals with covid patients. I've had to go through my treatments alone, I've not seen my family and my mental health is suffering.... but despite of all that, I am following the restrictions to the letter. I'd give anything for a hug but that's not possible right now. There are so many selfish, arrogant people out there. They think they are smart yet they are so very stupid. As a Christian, the nonsense other Christians come up with to deny that the virus is a thing, or being all "brave" because God will protect them (um, maybe He has provided Really Smart People called Scientists who have figured out and given us the means to protect humankind through wearing a mask and social distancing?) just makes me sick, and I think it makes Him weep.

There is a joke. I might have read it on here. There is a flood and guy is trapped on his roof. Boat comes by to help "God will save me" guy says. Another boat comes "God will save me" guy says. He drowns. He gets to heaven and asks god why he didn't save him. "I sent you two boats". god says. Or something like that. It means god helps those who help themselves. Which means wear a mask. (I'm a former Christian).

If I am honest, i just want all these people to curl up and die and thus clean up the human gene pool. Fun fact: in my country are two state with a very high percentage of voters of an alt-right party. 35% percent as opposed to the usual 10%. And, of course, this party is also antiscience and thinks Covid is hoax etc etc and noone follows the rules. Guess where the hospitals are full and people are dying like flies?

god, this is so easy and so many people are too selfish to even comprehend. here's the deal, idiots: if EVERYONE wore a mask everywhere they were around other people, apart from their own homes, for an entire month, we would be out of this already. if you wear a mask, you cannot spread OR get cooties. if other people are wearing masks, they cannot spread OR get cooties. in your home, if everyone has been wearing a mask the whole time they're out, it's fine to not wear one, because no one should have any cooties (because they've been wearing a mask). everyone needs to get over themselves and just wear. the. goddamn. mask. not going out unless absolutely necessary further reduces the chance that you will get or spread germs while out. don't believe in covid? wear the mask anyway, for giggles. it doesn't hurt you. if my mom gets covid, she WILL die.

COMMUNISTS DON'T WANT YOU TO WEAR MASKS! They want America to get sick and die off!!! They know we're headstrong about our freedoms, and that we wouldn't do the best thing to prevent catching the virus (wearing a mask!). New Zealand and Australia did nail it, but in New Zealand’s case, at least, we did see that the Asian countries were the ones to look to. We knew we couldn’t rely on the US and UK. :(

People need to get that this is not about them, it is not about any single incident ... of course, if I go to the store without a mask, each one time in itself will have a low likelihood of me catching the virus. But I have to go to the grocery store about once a week, so this adds up. There are about 500000 people living in a radius of 20 miles around me, and in every household, one does about the same every week ... the low likelihood certainly will lead to some infections, it just isn't every other week for everyone, only for some. Damned, everybody knows how to avoid contact, everybody could know it works, and the masks are just a little uncomfortable, something everybody can endure... Not that hard. Not that much that is aksed. A little compassion and reason - so little I always have thought everyone has it - is all it takes. Antimaskers are assholes.

Here's the really scary thing, I had a cold over Christmas, and had an appointment for my yearly physical at the first of this year. Even though I did not have a fever, my doctor told me I could have had COVID-19 because it is estimated up to 40% of people who have had it did not have symptoms, and that most of us have probably been exposed at some time. BUT wearing the mask is like wearing a condom-it protects both people.

This makes my blood boil. Due to being medically extremely vulnerable I haven't left the house other than for hospital appointments, treatments and scans since March. I have not been in the same room as my partner for 10 months as he works in hospitals with covid patients. I've had to go through my treatments alone, I've not seen my family and my mental health is suffering.... but despite of all that, I am following the restrictions to the letter. I'd give anything for a hug but that's not possible right now. There are so many selfish, arrogant people out there. They think they are smart yet they are so very stupid. Anyone who refuses the vaccine claiming
