It's quite rare to see a wannabe actor starting their career with a big feature film role. With their first jobs in modeling, commercials, and small roles in TV series, most world-renowned actors had a long way to go until they became successful. We here at Bored Panda decided to take a trip down memory lane to see where world-renowned actors started their careers. We compared the actors' first movie role to their latest role to see not only how much they've changed through the years but also how far they've gone in their careers.

The first time I saw Alan Rickman on screen was when he played a snivelling, grovelling, sly vicar - Obediah Slope - in the Barchester Chronicles on TV! I was a fan from that moment on and I am so sorry he has passed.
He aged very gracefully and became quite distinguished!!! R.I.P. Alan!!! You are loved and missed!!!

Age is a tricky thing for actors. Lifestyles and money make a difference, yes, but for me the reason for looking older or younger is that some are blessed with good genes while others aren't.
Not to mention that lots of actors and actresses undergo drastic physical changes purposefully for specific roles. Christian Bale is famous for this, but also Joaquin Phoenix lost a lot of weight for Joker. And then there are the Marvel and DC heroes....

Too many posters rely on fan/troll photos from films and they get the wrong person. Most look very good.
So the author of this series is confused. A lot of these actors/actresses got their start on TV shows/music videos. Every last one of these show their first role as a movie. It looks like she used IMDB and just listed the first movie that she saw them in and said that was their first role. Very misleading!
Maybe they should have put something like: "We compared the actors' first movie role...", right there in the first paragraph...
