I've been making and posting webcomics about my mental health struggles for a few years now. Anxiety, depression, and some other mental problems. But they have always been three-panel, text-post comic strips without visuals. I've just never been able to do cartoon drawings of any sort.
A few months ago, however, I started drawing anyway, just pen on paper, and have since made daily relatable comics about everything from indecisiveness to issues with body-image. Other topics include perfectionism, insomnia, paranoia, on and on.
I post a lot on Instagram, and people have really responded. It's been so nice. I'm filled with gratitude. I hope I can keep making things that resonate with people and that help them feel less alone with their mental issues.

Thank you, I wish the same for you two. I guess we have to keep taking our meds and going to therapy a lot more before starting our own adventures. Best wishes, and keep fighting
Load More Replies...I suffer with pretty damn bad anxiety (that's the medical term), honestly would not wish it on anyone. It really is crippling.
I feel this. My friends and family literally get scared and confused when I go outside. I usually leave the house maybe once a week for groceries and thats it. I have literally gotten confused and scared questions from friends and my own mother when I go outside coz its just that rare.
Same thing except I spat my double grande iced caramel coconut milk mocha frapalatte with extra foam dammit
Load More Replies...I’m an Art Teacher and I have a student who is highly anxious. I’ve loved watching his progress the past two years, having his confidence grow as he applies himself to his work. He used to ask me literally every 5 minutes if what he is doing is right, or OK. Now, he might ask once a lesson and often says he is proud of his work 😊
It's good to hear the success stories, thank you for sharing.

After that, I need to go back home and face my anxiety again, but everything cool down once I got into my bedroom and I lay on ma' bed.
Might I suggest dialectical behavioral therapy? It's based in mindfulness and has been super helpful for just this. You can do group stuff, or you can just get the workbook and do it by yourself (what I did).

I think wisdom evee is tryna make another prompt, so imma reply instead of downvote. "this isN'T fake"
I just don’t get how you can call someone mean. Tbh wouldn’t that make you mean?

I want to quit hurting, not quit living. Unfortunately more than once the only solution to "quit hurting" seemed to be to quit living.
Load More Replies...I love all these comics! They all are pretty relatable to me, and the little stick figure drawings are adorable!
