I (38 F) am currently in a separation from a very long marriage that was doomed from the get go... A very bizarre stumble into a conversation with someone I have known of for a few years online turns into a very different conversation one night 😉. This multiplies into many weeks now of very heated and very normal exchanges and the decision to meet is made and absolutely necessary. We are split between Canada/USA and not overly far from one another. Safety concerns are of a very normal level of regular vigilance in any situation and I don't have any red flags at all. He is probably the most dreamy dude ever! Anyhooooo. How do I plan a trip like this? I will be booking myself a room or BnB, he is super helpful but also wants to give me lots of space for freedom and comfort. I have never done anything this adventurous before and most definitely not alone. Where is the best place to get tourism info? Not the corny commercial stuff but the actual fun stuff. I may want or need some stuff to do on my own, especially if it doesn't go all aces.
