I started my career in 1976. I look at the picture of the start of your career and then at the one at the end. What changes we have seen! So many miraculous advances that we never dreamed of back then. The learning curve we have experienced is huge. Every nurse has their niche. My first night working in CCU during my nurse internship, I KNEW this is what I wanted to do. It came to me as naturally as breathing. I have always marveled at nurses who work in obstetrics. I'd be scared to death all the time. I'll bet it came as naturally to you as breathing. Thank you for your dedication and love of your "niche". Happy retirement!
