I've been there too and when I'm looking at pictures of that time, I'm stunned over and over again of how much your inner pain/battle affects your appearance. skin, hair, eyes, everything looks different when you're in deep depression. I'm proud and happy for everybody feeling better today. lots of love

Can you get some help? It isn't easy if you are struggling on without support. I've done both, no help and I have seen professionals. I tell myself that even if there feels like there is no point that I can see, why not try and make the most if it? Doesn't always work but I keep plodding on. Have to keep going for my dogs!!

Congrats! I know it wasn't easy. But remember there's a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how small. If you fall try to get back up, but if you can't it's alright to crawl. Just keep the forward movement going. After being treated for nearly 30+ yrs for depression i have finally been able to go off them. And I'm doing good i just remind myself of what I just wrote. If I have to crawl and then rest and crawl again, I will.

Right now I am that the image on the left. My husband just died from pancreatic cancer and I don't want to live anymore. I just don't know how to get to be the person on the right. Don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm very glad that you did.

You can change your life! You can change it, not by going back, which is impossible, but by asking for forgiveness, and then forgive yourself; very important for change to forgive yourself, otherwise you will still be carrying the weight of your mistakes. You may be surprised at how easily forgiveness comes, from others; it is hard to forgive yourself. You prove to others by your actions, more so than just words alone. Words are easy to say, but real changes in your behavior can prove you're sincere. Wishing you much relief and joy.

The plant on the right gets substantially more sunlight than the plant on the left with the shadow of the shed but sure. (That being said, research does show that the gentle vibrations of normal, calm voices can stimulate plant growth. Google it.)

It is ridiculous and it’s really harmful for your self stem. The other day I saw a L T-shirt that was 1Cm wider than a xxs. Two trousers of the same size, one fit perfectly and the other didn’t pass my tights. I bought in the same store a xxL and a L that were the same size (of a normal L). I felt horrible when I needed a xxL until I measured it with the other shirt I got. It’s horrible for the self steam.

My grans village was the same. Our street had lovely small trees since the 1900s when it was built. Big enough to be pretty but small enough to not feel oppressive in a small street. Around the 60s people starting cutting them because they all wanted to look city like to pretend to be fancier. My family kept the trees or replanted them until I was a teenager. I had seen neighbours breaking the branches and trying to kill them. At the end they both died and my grandmas gave up.
