Isn't a restriction/ law on guns in the U.K. less complicated than a U.S. restriction/law? I think UK citizenship doesn't provide a "right" to arms. Further, access and influence to lawmakers is different. I'm not making an argument for or against laws banning guns. I'm suggesting there are structural differences in our respective systems.

Well the guns are needed in order to get rid of the last traces of the formally democratic government. Social media also by radicalize the gun owners.

I never liked John Howard but for this I have always respected him, he acted so decisively and fast. Didn't agree with the decision at the time even though I had no personal interest in guns I felt people should have their own choice. I was wrong, he was right that's all.

I remember seeing that on the news! To this day, some gun fanatics insist the whole thing was a false flag operation. Of course, as soon as it worked and they took away our durn guns, Australia descended into a brutal military dictatorship/police state. Oh wait, the only actual consequence was that the tragedy was never repeated. Never mind.

Just remember. One day these tortured students will be our law makers and the NRA is dwindling as Boomers pass away. The 2nd Amendment will be repealed when the children who grew up with active shooter drills are the law makers.
